I would not have searched with shadow mist, due to being able to draw bubble man special and draw 2. I mean the grind game where the player had 0 cards
my guy also top decked and e-called for a shadow mist instead of bubbleman draw 2 at 4:35 when we see that he still had a bubbleman in deck after the shadow mist dies lmao
In duel 3, the sequence of Fiber jar into Feather duster into imperial order into Spirit Reaper hand loop is exactly why you can never count Chaos out. Resolving a few of those banned effects in a row can change everything, even against modern decks

Game 4 was such an amazing moment. For a brief moment I remembered why that combination of Spells was called "The Holy Trinity" during the early 2010s (*except with Dark Hole and not Raigeki, but you know what I mean)

Well, of course Chaos Yata won. It's the OG Tier 0 deck. Gotta love to see it! Also, as a future reference, maybe you should script your matches, Lithium. That way, we can see these decks battle at full power without all of the mistakes and misplays that comes with it.
SPOILER This is exactly why Chaos is always my favorite deck to watch in every CBC. It’s always got something up its sleeve, and it demonstrates how broken some DM staples were. Favorite match of this yearns cup so far
just a little thing to point out: in 2004 the ruling of fiber jar was that it shuffled himself as well, sadly the edopro guys forgot about this. (for the proof you can look for the 2003 world championship coverage, in the finals fiber jar eff has been activated 8 times in the same duel)
I couldn’t think of a better match where Bubbleman’s second effect of drawing two cards if it’s the only card you possess could have come up to help recuperate advantage, only to keep vainly searching Shadow Mist
The pacing of these games are just so much more interactive and fun than modern yugioh. Just so much more back and forth instead of barfing out half of your extra deck and activating 30 effects turn 1.
Nice to see Chaos's power against a deck that doesn't set up omni-negates, have a solid grind game, or recover from mass destruction easily. Shame about the missed Bubbleman searches. I don't watch this series expecting optimal play, just happy to have the unique fights we can't see anywhere else.
Hero player searching Shadow Mist and NOT Bubbleman AT LEAST TWICE was so hard to watch. thought he might've banished it off Desires but then he searched Bubbleman later with Mist and had to come to the realization that the hero player needs to RTFC
It's killing me on the inside to see bubblemans popt of greed effect not being utilized, not once but twice!! BRO that's a game changing effect when you are topdecking...
As a player from 2003, this was great to see. I was expecting Toadally Awesome to negate all of Chaos's best cards, but it turns out that every single card in the Chaos deck is its best card.
Can you actually use priority with the older decks on the platform you use for playing? For example, that game where Tribe fell into Bottomless you technically could have used priority first, according to the old rules. But not sure if the program actually allows it.
I always wonder why people believe any iteration of HERO can stand against banlist.dek in a Bo5 situation, being a HERO player for years, the versions that rely on protecting Dark Law and spamming Bubble Man are just too vulnerable against any sort of board wipe and inconsistent in a meta standard. Needless to say the deck was never built for going second. Voted for my BOI chaos.

Remember when people were saying that Toad HERO was way too strong for the upper part? Me neither. NEVER count out Chaos. (Ik the HERO player misplayed hard but still)
How can the hero player misplay that hard several times during game 3? Missing bubbleman draw 2 twice and going for Shadowmist is so brain dead in toad hero. Drawing into instant fusion/desires off bubbleman is pretty much an instant win in this deck. Really sad too see such awful plays ruin this match.
The draw 2 thing you are right on but they cant use instant fusion because of anti spell, dont call people brain dead when you yourself cant see stuff correctly
@@alexYu-gi-oh Are you genuinely damaged? Read Bubbleman and tell me you can't use a drawn instant/desires because you have anti-spell up again. I get you're upset but actually look at board states before you make stupid comments.
I am never doubting Chaos again after this. Also, that Fiber Jar in game 3. LOL! Giving the next one to Rulers 3-2. T.G. Stun has an okay matchup against the Rulers, but not exactly great, and Skill Drain honestly isn't that great against Dragon Rulers. Their probably going to need their side decks in the later games, and I don't think it will be enough.
There was an E call miss play, but those banned cards just were to much to overcome period lol people forget chaos was a top deck in the previous years for a reason. Haha
Lithium won not chaos xD also, the HERO player was terrible, no offence at 04:33 he had the opportunity of his to search bubbleman to draw 2 but NOPE he went for mist just to ... no idea why honestly, then it got destroyed to search what ? OMG it is bubbleman x\ funny that he didnt see a single AHL lol anyway, gg sad for the last game, beaten by anti spell, your own anti-spell is ravaging as a HERO rooter. now I will start a petetion to oblige Lith participating in a YCS or Nationals because he will 100% win it XD
