Brampton second India capital in the world -- there is no other country with the same amount of Indian people invasion -- It is like a small Indian country in Peel Region

At first I was thinking it wasn’t any worse than where I live, but dang those red light runners are egregious! We get right turners that don’t bother stopping for red lights, and left turners often run the red light during rush hour, but running a red light going straight is rare.

Brampton boundaries had their own insurance rates. Unfortunately, the crashing was not in their home area as much so they expanded to all of Peel which increased rates alot. So we all get the honour of funding the great drivers of Brampton.

I drive truck up to Bramladesh almost every day and ive never seen such disregard for the basic rules of the road anywhere like that place. Hmmm not sure why?I do but going to think it rather than say it out loud. A scary thing is I see so many truck driver schools up there, more than anywhere. Hopefully they train their truckers better than the regular G drivers but I think theres evidence somewhere in the truck accident stats showing differently?

Used to live in Brampton. I stopped nicely at a yellow. Guy behind me almost rear ended me assuming I would go through intersection, however light would have changed to red. This animal wanted to fight me.

Perhaps there needs to be more Yellow light enforcement. As per the driver's handbook, a Yellow light should be treated as a Red for through traffic, but *CAN* be used for turn traffic in order to clear an intersection for a light change. Somewhere along the way though, that got twisted into a belief that a Yellow has more in common with a Green, which would explain why they seem to think that the Red essentially doesn't matter.

In Brampton, you have Red, Yellow, Green and of course Brown. I think I've made my point.

if they set up red light cameras at some of these intersections, brampton could pay for gold plated roads

Try walking in Brampton with these drivers. They don't know or can't comprehend the driving rules. The white walk guy when a light turns green means go, their brains can't comprehend anything more than that. I've been almost hit so many times and every single time they have no idea they've done anything wrong yet they almost killed someone. They still believe green light means go, they learn nothing. I've literally been stuck in the middle of a street for an entire light cycle cause ppl turning left would not stop doing it. About 20 cars 1 after another turning left with me with my arms up in the air trying to cross the street when it's my turn to do so not your left turn let alone 20+ cars. The light had changed and they were still turning left. Now the opposite traffic is supposed to go but they can't until they stop turning left and I finally walk across the street. Stuck in the middle of the street from walk guy to the other way now has a green light and still not crossed when it's originally my right of way. Worse part zero of those 20 cars have any clue they did wrong. Green light means go, pedestrians are not seen. As a pedestrian you can't go to any somewhat busy intersection without at least 1 dumb driver. My favorite is when they almost kill you and they just gun it as fast as possible and the ones who get so panicked they slam on their horn 30 seconds after the fact cause they're too busy panicking. Try walking in Brampton you won't make an intersection without green light go syndrome. Their brains can't comprehend anything more than that. Kinda tough to understand road rules when you can't grasp what "will be" means. Ask any of them what does Jim will be here means. They'll say huh or Jim's here, they don't understand the words in between. Green is go, drive the car, pedestrian??? They have no clue what a pedestrian is unless they are about to hit one and then wonder why they would walk when they have a green light. 90% of the time a light goes green the driver turning right is looking left to see the traffic stop, they then turn right b4 they even look right and as pedestrians we have to wait till ppl stop turning right which is usually a few cars but it's never the 1st one, he's looking left and has zero concept of ppl.

Unless police start giving out mass tickets, old country mentality always immigrates. Easier solution is taking time out of your day to cause collisions where you aren't to blame.

You sure thats brampton? I did not see a " no farmers , no food " sign on every other car. You did not get a shot of the classic infinity q56 making the right turn and straight to left lane.

I live in Brampton and have dash cams in front AND back of my car. I could post videos like this ALL day long. Problem i see, is there is SO little traffic enforcement, that Brampton has become a lawless roadway. Yesterday, at the intersection of Queen St E and Rutherford, I see a police car stopped at a red light, half way into the crosswalk! Once he proceeds through the green light, he then makes TWO lane changes right away without signaling. If the police dont give a dam to follow the rules, then why should anyone else. Brampton needs to start having more traffic enforcement. I drive to Mississauga every morning for work and for 5 years now, it is a rare time that i see a police car in the morning rush hour or the return trip after supper time. No enforcement....No one is going to care how they drive.

Yup. Not only there but throughout all of Southern Oontario. Where is the police traffic enforcement? Where are the very heavy punitive fines that will make our roads safer? Where are they Doug Ford?

People have no respect to traffic rules, all intentionally.

Im from South Carolina. I was in Brampton, it felt like i was in INDIA. I actually found them quite friendly.
