My buddy picked up the Gremlin precon not knowing it came with planechase. We now want to get more of the planechase cards and they are indeed a great change of pace introducing them into our games. There's a plane that's basically doubling season and parallel lives rolled into one. Boy was my zombie army massive lmao

These decks are great. They can fight other decks well they match with each other's power mostly the convoke is a little weak. And they are built well enough they can be a pick up and play deck or an optimal min max game

Thank you very much for playing kasla, I had an amazing game with her in the xcommand zone today. The deck does need lots of mana and all three colors. The game was good because all four decks got to go off. And there were moments when each deck had a chance to win. I know you guys play out of box when doing these, but invasion of sogovia if able to defeat is very good. Also the scry and draw happens whenever you cast a card with convoke including when you don't pay the convoke cost. That was cool to learn. These videos are great. too.

I love the art for Kasla. One of my favorite decks to play, even if it nots the most powerful. I have spent a little bit of time, with a small budget and not a ton of card access due to having a small collection, to lean into Angels. Needs more work still but I like it 😊

Shalai triggers when counters are placed on a creature, but it doesn't count for Triskelion which ETBs with counters (since the counters aren't being placed).

The reason I said the word "placed" is so you wouldn't misconstrue it with the counters that are going on Triskelion. Triskelion doesn't trigger Shalai.

I definitely thought the same thing, and I looked it up when I wanted to build Shalai and Hallar, so... 122.6 Some spells and abilities refer to counters being “put” on an object. This refers to putting counters on that object while it’s on the battlefield and also to an object that’s given counters as it enters the battlefield. So it does apply, in some half-step between resolving as a creature and actually hitting the table, and SaH see it happen
