Chaos erupts at DLP Annual Conference as motion to reinstate expelled leaders sparks uproar 

There were scenes of confusion as the Democratic Labour Party holds its annual general conference at its George Street Headquarters. The early morning session was disrupted and a motion brought to reinstate former general secretary Steve Blackett and former President Dr Ronnie Yearwood, who had earlier been expelled from the party.
There were loud outbursts from members and people standing, at the top of the room as acting president Andre Worrell tried to bring about some semblance of order.
