When you start a new game in CF2, a time and date is recorded in the save file's memory. This is so when you beat the game, it can measure how long it took you to beat the final boss from starting the game. This feature takes place when you reset a save file, too. Since I reset the save file the day before recording, the game thought it took me almost a full day to complete. However, I timed this run from the moment I clicked on the first level, because I saw that's what other CF2 speedrunners were doing.
