'Im going to start some ballasting' (gulp!!). A bit of a tip, do follow their advice re keeping it covered when not in use and vacuum it regularly as any dust and small particles that get into the rack and pinion in the base will soon permanently defeat the mechanism with disasterously expensive consequences. Mininiscule bacteria defeating the mighty Martians in H.G.Wells 'War of the Worlds' is an apt analogy. Good video (yours) and all the best with your developing layout.
Hi Rob, Thank you for your comments. Previous experience with ballast is not an issue as I have done loads of it on a previous layout. But the Heljan turntable will be treated with great respect, now that I have finally got one that works! Regards. Mike
Thanks Mark, I try to put up a video every six weeks or so. dependent on how much time I have to spend on it. Not very good with the editing thing, so some times they are 'rough and ready'
@@chapelhousemodelrailway1700 that’s no problem something to look forward to, yeah I know all to well about editing not my strong point takes just as much time as running trains lol
