If you’re not listening to Chappell, you are missing out. My 14 year old daughter introduced her to me & I love her. An artist that can create a joyful musical experience for a gay teen & her 47 year old mother;)) She’s a very polished performer too. A true talent.
her debut album is literally amazing it’s so incredibly joyful and fun definitely a album a lot of people needed rn bc she’s so unapologetically herself
Why is he sitting in front? Why is the webcam woman even there? Why does the guy keep interrupting? ( with more stupid questions!!) Do they actually know how fucking awesome Chappell is? She kept it real. Didn’t overextend. She knows what’s going down here. Love Chappell Roan!!!!!!
No literally the way the blonde chick tries to relate and make a "provocative" statement to sound cool like do you even know who you're talking to??? And what a way to detract from the personal story chappell shared 🤦♀️
Y’all I feel like you fucked this interview up 😭 consistently interrupting her and asking bad questions…it’s clear you didn’t really do much research beforehand. It’s such a shame because Chappell is about to be one of the greatest musical artists of our time. I agree with other commenters that Demi really took away from the interview. Kind of like if you don’t have anything substantial to say, don’t say anything at all? Smh
I love Chappell she did great but the interview didn’t give her good questions he clearly didn’t know much about her until this interview he also kept taking
The album is SO good, Chappell's project is one of a kind and so incredibly beautiful and fun and queer. She's the star we've all been waiting for. I saw her live this month and I can't wait to see her again this spring with my girlfriend
Sweetheart, it's not okay to judge. First of all there probably was a delay and second of all she probably also has anxiety as well. Don't be so harsh on people, man. Spread love. Xo ❤️ 😊🤗
Saying this in the kindest way possible… can we just edit the blonde girl out? She seems unnecessary here. Was she high? Either way she may want to consider a career change. Bless her heart.
I'm excited for her! I feel like she will have like one of those Lady Gaga careers and I know that she isn't exactly "brand new" but her recent success is though! I need to keep watching more interviews of her and getting to know her more!!!!
I’m sure y’all had more than a whole hour with this interesting artist and this is the best that you could do? Chappell needs to be interviewed by the host from Hot Ones ❤️🔥 Sean Evens because they’re the only social media interviewer who actually let’s the interviewees finish their sentences, asks thought provoking questions, and does thorough background research! Here’s some unsolicited advice from an audience’s perspective; ask questions only if you are willing to actually let the other person finish their answers! You both come off as people who wait for their turn to speak instead of actively listening to the interviewee and responding appropriately to their answers!
This interview, 'It's Real" cringe. Only saving grace is I feel like we met Kayleigh (Chappell Roan's real name) in this interview, but there are better interviews now thankfully! She was gracious, real and super thoughtful and humble - although even she seemed to look for the exit at the end. Both interviewers were mostly cringe and off-putting. Jordan talked over Chappell throughout, seemed to try and score a free ticket to Chappell Roan's (almost) sold-out tour, and couldn't even bring himself to thank Chappell at the end! Demi is definitely taking Chappell's peerless Tiny Desk Concert direction to "be bimbos ladies, be bimbos", and at least she was nice enough to thank Chappell Roan/Kaleigh at the end.
They should have upgraded for this tour and do more shows around Europe at least, it's frustrating that only scalpers have those tickets at this point.
