Penning and Hearn....equally the two best story tellers. Awesome.

At last a film I could watch and not have to turn off after 10 minuets. No mention of scaley bangers, mint cods, enormodons or any other such bollocks. just an intelligent, passionate man telling his tale with great joy.

How infectious is Adam, never met the guy, but he comes across as a goodun. Great angling to boot.

You can't help but love Adam Penning, he tells such a great story, details and with enthusiasm and passion. I would love to meet him on the bank. Top bloke

Adam is one of the best story tellers in carp angling the atmosphere he creates whilst relaying his past captures is incredible it's like you're there with him living through each one. He possesses a real talent and I can listen to him for hours.

Thank you to whoever decided to putAdam Penning on youtube. Its refreshing to find someone who like myself, who strips it back to the simplest way of carp fishing. At the end of the day, these wonderful fish deserve our utmost respect, and should not be taken for granted. Why would you want to put out 5,6,even 10 kg of boilies, especially as you can pay anything up to £15 a kg for quality boilies. In my own fishing, i also keep things simple, supple coated braib and a size 8 esp t6 or gardner talon tips ive got plenty to see me out until i cant go anymore. I have only ever used 3 boilie flavours fruits of the forest and sweetcream cajouser which i think was a Hutchie flavour, they were really smelly(in a nice way) so much so i put some in the ashtray of the car to make it smell nice. Mulberry florentine for a while, then when i couldn't get them i started using SCOPEX, yay, used it ever since, nowadays i smother them in hemp oil annd it never lets me down. Keep the videos coming adam, theyre the best yet along with those by Chilly and Mr Hearn. Tight lines.

Top Angling Adam. I can completely understand why you would want to photo a Fish and not talk about it, to keep that moment of magic, I’ve done that many times myself. Looking at them beautiful fish, it’s like stepping back 40 years !! I fished a lake named Bracken many many years ago, and all the carp were just like that.

Was such an amazing video to watch, with some incredible looking carp, but the way you shared your experience, the passion just shined through you as an angler, than puts you up amongst the true anglers, like Chris Yates, John Wilson and the great Dick Walker. I think you could author a great angler experience book like Mr Crabtree. So looking forward to watching and listening to another angling experience from yourself. As for those that sent you red cards, hope you sent them a chequered flag and photo of you and your top 3 catches in each spot on the podium. 😁

This is a great retrospective, and full of the magic of angling, but one thing spoiled the story for me... I mean look, I'm a bit of a noddy, granted, after 25 years of some-times carp fishing I've never got round to catching a thirty, never mind a forty or fifty. But even after everything that I have seen in carp fishing, and fishing in general, the idea that other anglers can try and tell you to move off a lake, ffs what's with these people? If I've got in, paid for my ticket, keep to the rules, and keep myself to myself, I should be able to live out my angling days on the lake of my dreams. I get why anglers want to move on, why they want to chase a new target or whatever, why some are only ever interested in the one big or special resident, and why some are more about the circuit than anything else, but the notion that others can decide when you've had or done enough, what entitled bs...

Nice storytelling however the overstating of each fish got a bit tedious. That tipped common was a bit special mind.

Wow... Some of those big bellied Beasties are proper obese monsters. All of them Beautiful creatures. Really taken with this guy, such a great speaker and you can feel his passion for these fish and the whole world of carp fishing. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, especially as I was born and grew up in Chelmsford 57yrs ago and can remember quite a few fishing locations with affection. Great video... How carp videos have evolved over the years. Years ago it was grainy footage, bad editing, shocking sound and about 30 minutes long. Now we get spoilt by pieces of art like this. Great episode guys, amazing angling and story telling Adam.

I used to fish for carp in the UK as a kid but now live in NZ and hunt trout on the fly BUT my buddy has recently put me onto these videos and am loving them!! My videos are very different from these but I am getting so much inspiration from them, it's awesome! Super cool productions fellas!!

These last few years, something has changed significantly with the quality of these films and anglers represented - first we had Terry who tells a story like no other angler alive, THEN we had Nick Helleur and I could smell and taste what he was explaining; NOW we got Adam and I’m done. I feel like I’m sat in the bivvy with him. You got to stop now, enough is enough, I cannot take it s anymore. We have now hit the pinnacle; there is absolutely no way we can progress beyond this. This has to be the absolute limit to what can be achieved on utube!
