The mechanics are great. The gameplay is great. But the story is terrible. Im really disappointed that highmoon couldn't make a sequel for fall of cybertron.
The one thing that annoyed me a bit while playing was going to vehicle mode with either Drift or Soundwave, and them not boosting mid transformation, like, at 18:23 (for example) I was already holding LT to boost, I was forced to wait for the transformation to end and then Soundwave went full throttle '-' And for some reason Shockwave DOES boost mid transformation, like at 24:17, what the heck man.
I remembered playing as swindle and the same problem happened to me too, I feel like it’s pretty much every characters vehicle mode besides jet mode that has that delay. (I only played this game like a few times from the ps3 back then and my god I was really disappointed, stopped playing and never touched it again.)
@@zero_alters7359 Well that sucks, it's such on specific moments, either trying to travel faster or retreating/escaping, everytime. After getting accustomed to Wfc and Foc, this kind of thing gets annoying fast ;-;
So the Crystal Guardians aren’t even original they just clones of Zeta Prime. Everything about this game is very lazy. Using Megatron’s new design when Metroplex hadn’t even destroyed him yet. The uneven proportions of the bayverse characters. Also using Lockdown instead of Galvatron seems very stupid. It just doesn’t age well. Also Movie Grimlock is just an ugly reskin of the FOC version. They really just should have left the bayverse out, or at least make a AOE game that was completely original.
I like of how the change form animztion is because we never saw drift transform within the bayverse films, just....jump in the air and boom.....Lamborghini.
The parts playing on Cybertron seem to be before FOC, looking at the fact of Shockwave encountering the insecticons for the first time here, so I assume yes, it's a prequel.
