Makes me miss the times sitting next to a float with my Dad, or watching A Passiom for Angling, dreaming about our next trip. Thanks for helping me relive that! ❤
This man is a credit to his late uncle, the man who inspired my love for fishing. I never got to meet John Wilson, if I ever meet Martin I would like to shake his hand and offer my thanks.. I hope Martin will inspire the next generation of anglers .. I really believe this approach is wht fishing is really about.
Has to go down as one of the best all round anglers ever!!! Martin Bowler is someone we should all look up to and remember that it’s fishing and we should be greatful that we have the opportunity. Well done Sticky👍🏼
The jubilation after all his years of fishing says it all for me. Well done Martin Bowler and Bernard on the making of an excellent carp fishing video. Great camera work too.
What a video! You truly captured the fact that float fishing on carp can be so difficult but the reward so intense. Thank you for this amazing video!! Greets from Holland.
What a fantastic fish! Fishing with a float for carp is one of the most beautiful fisheries. And then it doesn't even have to be fish of 20 pounds or more. Very well done and beautifully filmed. Cheers and greetz from Holland
really special video, that's a true passion and love for fishing right there... no flashy tackle, no trying too hard and no ego's... everything that fishing should be, bang on!
A man who has caught more fish in a lifetime than we can ever dream, creating arm shaking memories and still getting as excited now as he did when that float went with the gudgeon. Fantastic video martin loved it, thank you
Martin is right, this is the most fantastic place to fish. How I miss just being there, fishing the day ticket lake for tench. Happy memories of great days.
my best ever carp (and fish to date) of just over 30lb I had on the float. I'd turned up late morning at my local pond to find only to find one peg free. I set up with bite alarms all around me and had the biggest carp in the lake (a none known fish) on my first cast. I was actually after perch but was so chuffed i didn't mind not getting a perch! I appreciate bite alarms have their place but a float and centrepin are easily the most enjoyable way of fishing in my eyes. Very nice video!
This is so right trying to strike on a float compared to Bolt rigs with bite alarms where the fish hooks it's self not so much love and lost passion for floating any more but respect to you Martin Bowler thanks for the upload sticky bait TV respect.
Your so passionate about fishing and being outside and intouch with nature.. like myself, it's what it's all about . Not size or how many..the adventures👌👌 great video sticky/martin..enjoyed it no end. Thank you again
With all the current content why do I always come back Reflections volume 1 and 2, there just the best ones that have been made and with all the bait and tackle companies out there making films it's an achievement to be at the top, I appreciate this is old but it's just amazing film making
If Carlsberg done Anglers.... Reminds me of one of my best days fishing ever, using free lined floating crust in the weed 5 Carp biggest 24 lb. Brilliant fishing as always from this Legend and top marks for cinematography .
I dont think I have ever left a comment on a video before but what a perfect video. The filming, narration and presentation was spot on. Not trying to sell anything to the viewers but pure angling.
Ive just watched the reflections chapters backwards (not sure why) but this rounded it off perfectly. Makes me want to start fishing again. Thankyou sticky. 👍
Sticky well done I think you guys have nailed it. fantastic cinematography and beautiful drone footage. This collection of videos will be very hard to match 👏👏
Best video I’ve seen for a long long time well done Dan perfectly put together and how videos should be done. The rest prick your ears up your a long way behind
Love float fishing. As effective as setting feeder traps is, looking a the bobber and picking up rod when carp has already hooked itself already is way less exciting. It's sort of like hunting boar or deer at the feeder 30m out.
12.46 how strange you mention your gudgeon and immediately I'm taken back to the bridge canal, seeing a float in the margin only to pick it up too find its attached to a small perch, just that one moment 35 years ago starting my love of fishing. Just thought I'd share lol
This is real Carp fishing. Not chucking out leads and hair rigs and waiting for the fish to self hook themselves. Pit yourself against nature and the fish in the way it should be done. Martin deserves a massive pat on the back for campaining for proper angling skills.
Amazing video! I'm not a carp angler but that makes me want to go carp fishing now, I am however wanting to catch good quality fish like Martin does, can I ask what rod hes using here? I think it's a drennan rod is it?
wow incredible cinematography. If u made this video without professional videographer i tip my hat to you. I have seen 4K videos but this looked like 10K.. And how did u find Antony Hopkins' voice! : ) Professional production!
