those ovens are so cool, steak looks awesome, perfect temp on meat. Plus that kitchen is Spotless, i'd love to eat there. Thinking this on good side of Kyoto? or it all this nice. Gotta visit and check it out.

What a beautiful restaurant, the presentation and the food looked incredible. Here in the UK a meal like that would have cost probably £100+ per person. My only concern was the beef for me could have been medium instead of rare.

Phil Harris To lay down the dust on the street. But also it’s an implication of purifying the entrance area for welcoming guests. It’s a traditional way for Japanese restaurants to show their consideration for guests. It’s called 打ち水 (Uchimizu).
