This is my favorite fight scene out of all of Glitchtale so far :3 It’s expertly animated, you can really feel the emotions Chara and Asriel (and even Flowey to an extent) are going through, and my _god_ that 3d rotation around Asriel’s attack at 2:17-2:24 is just (forgive the pun) godly! Just… *chef’s kiss* perfection

Jabbrbox Most Aus (Including this one but that’s a mistake that can’t be fixed) show the monsters (like sans) as more powerful than frisk but in the game it is said that one human soul is more powerful than all monster souls combined but this au actually has lore and isn’t just people fighting for no reason and also it has the personalities of all the characters cuz in megalomaniac you can see sans is still calm in the fight all the way through just like in the game but most animations don’t have that and also sans speaks in lowercase letters which even Underverse doesn’t get right

Watching this scene by itself brought tears to my eyes. It showed how tragic Asriel's story was which was why the hate held on. However, Frisk knew from what he saw with Sans and Papyrus that only someone with a close bond could save Asriel. Chara and Asriel's brotherly bond was what saved the tragic goat boy.

Not rly in 1st tineline chara died beacuse tyere was only 1 locket which means even with chara talking to asrirl it didnt work . There needed to be the second locket to lighten it up for asriel.

1:16 This moment. This was the exact same place in the failed timeline where everything went wrong. Those were the same words Asriel said as well. I like that Cami kept those same words to show that it is still the same “timeline” but it’s different in which now Asriel is saved. Awesome Cami!

I found it endearing to see Chara and Asriel hug after SO much time! Remember that Chara came back during "My Promise", and I know he replaced Frisk in the timeline for all the events that happened in the past, but damn, Chara and Asriel hadn't had a chance to HUG after the Season 1 Finale, Continue! I mean, look at the happiness on both of their faces during this moment! It was such a BEAUTIFUL moment! Two Best Friends who both died, had a second chance in life and are reunited!!! So, Determination crossed with Hate, and became Animosity? I think that’s what happened. But y’see, back in season 1, Chara had Hate. Maybe the Hate just showed up, since Flowey betrayed her. But Chara didn’t have Animosity. That’s the confusing part. Dynamic Panda i found this scene was kind of cliche and very underwhelming, for what i expected to be an actual fight. gasters scene and the final betty fight was definitely much more dramatic and generally better imo

You can say that they are diffrent personalities in one body, although the original one dont like the second one.(Start in ep4 Love asriel started to accept flowey)

Its probably mind blowing where that part Chara reaches his hand out to perpetually ask Asriel where that lockey came from is kind of disturbing since that other Chara from the season 1 actualized the ideal of the both and just gaved me the thing that Chara isn't fully aware of whats happening although frisk replaced his memories with his burden. This scene was very different than what I’m used to. I find it quite ironic that the magic of the entire scene, and a magic so finicky I could count the number of times in storytelling where it appears *on one hand* , happens to be roughly the same as the original Asriel fight, which is another of those very few times this happens in storytelling.

If anyone has seen "How To Train Your Dragon"...you know what scene I'm talking about. But..."Chara VS Asriel" is MUCH better than "Hiccup saves Toothless", because it's an actual fight for the "non-human best friend", and it shows how hard it is to actually free someone from someone's control. Hiccup had it easy. Chara almost died. Hiccup didn't have to absorb a substance what could kill him and Chara did.
