they had an earlier channel with a different name, and then in 2009 they deleted the entire thing and made the new SMTOWN one and reuploaded all their previous videos between 2009 and 2010
I know many first reactions to the mv or the hairstyles are to laugh and/or say it's weird, I remember being amused myself, but tbh these mvs are proof that TVXQ has been able to adapt to every single era of kpop since their debut and still kill the game regardless, and they continue to do so even now with only Yunho and Changmin left. Doesn't matter what funny hairstyles/fashion they had, or how outdated the mvs looked, you can't watch a TVXQ mv and say they didn't kill it with their vocals and performance. Their talent is undeniable.
Yo, they're still the kings of Kpop, together with Big Bang. Even without the break up TVXQ has always delivered and succeeded in their releases. For a 15+ yrs old group, they are still able to maintain and keep up with the younger generation, which already says a lot tbh fjkddkdl
Yo what they were and are Kings of Kpop. They are the best selling 2nd gen group in all aspects during 2004-2009, no one could top them for FIVE years, that is a longer time period than all other top groups (BTS could probably beat that record?). They still hold the record for most sold out tours in SM Entertainment. Please do not downplay the level of one of the most successful and legendary groups in Kpop history.
Oh my God yes! I remember when this came out, it was amazing and everyone was just blown away! It was so big when it dropped, Boa, TVXQ and Trax were all extremely big in their music genres at the time so when they did this, everyone was just shocked and so impressed with it. omg I also remember how big this was back then. Still iconic tho but at the time I thought this was the crossover of all crossovers. It's also so crazy to see how much influence the music and culture of Japan had on early kpop.
The visuals are inspired by Visual Kei, which is a Japanese rock trend that was big at the time (reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy style, tbh). The concept, from what I gather, is that the artists are angels lamenting on the sad state of humanity and calling for change.
You should know TVXQ! was an acapella dance group..no doubt all superb in vocals..react to Tonight MV for full high notes singing, or Whatever They Say MV or Always There MV for acapella songs...Legend..

THANK YOU SO MUCH! lol to be honest, when I first saw this in like 2006/2007, I was also like wtf. 😂 Some of their old MVs in order: HUG, Rising Sun, O, Balloons (but omg the quality is trashhhhhh), Sky, Choosey Lover, Begin, Step by Step, Lovin' You, Forever Love, Purple Line...and I'll leave it at that.
TVXQ is known for many people for having the best vocals as a group like their live stages are legendary.. if I have 1 favorite song from a kpop group it would be their love in the ice live stage (in Japanese) at Tokyo Dome.. please react to it if you have time!! 🙏
Most of my favorite TVXQ songs are from their Japanese releases, I think you should definitely check them out. Like Share The World, Why did I end up falling for you, Last Angel, Love in the Ice. Also, Darkness eyes was one of my ultimate favorites and rn I don't remember if it was Japanese or Korean haha Also you should definitely check out their acapellas, they were known for having powervocals and being able to harmonize and do acapella on the spot.

at that time, this was really big deal. BoA was top tier and dbsk was on rising at the time ( probably was like album monster since their debut was really well received). And this video style was really SM-ish after H.O.T era. It can be said that BoA did help to promote her junior.
There is no idol group that can beat TVXQ even if it's the idol group that is currently the most popular in the world, the quality will never be like TVXQ
All the TVXQ members were 16-18 in this music video!! Imagine NCT Dream doing this concept with these crazy vocals during their debut in 2016 AND BoA had already been in the game for 3-4 years, and she's the same age as Yunho and Jaejoong!!

They are called Sechs kies I would like you to react to their songs : 1.Road fighter (1998) 2.Sad song (2017) They have been on hiatus for 16-17 years and they came back in 2016, they are still rocking even if they are in late thirties... TVXQ are LEGENDS and actually it's so sad to see that the new generation of Kpop fans doesn't known and appreciate them T-T they basically, with Boa made the hard work to represent the Kpop in Asia and other parts of the world, like Latin America, they're known here along with super junior. Love this song. TVXQ and Boa. Ben, you need to check out my fav TVXQ song- Rising Sun. Hiro, Max abs U-Kno were my boys out of TVXQ. And BoA is my girl still. TVXQ was like the only k pop group I listened to in High school because I was more into J rock and J pop.. which is more how I know BoA.

I really really really hope you would react to their songs "O" and "Rising Sun" both from early 2000 era kpop but I swear no music like that came up until the moment!! this was the first kpop video i ever saw! not the song that got me into kpop (that was super juniprs dont don) but i still love this damn song. its just so extra 😂 and also my 13ish year old self was Amazed by the visuals and the mixing of pop and rock- y sounds like that.

TVXQ! can dance very well, can perform very well and all of their MVs are incredible, but the best and the strongest thing of TVXQ! is their vocal and live performance. Hmmm... Interesting... Not overall bad... I liked the rock influence here and TVXQ had some great vocals here... BoA has great vocals too... TRAX had a good sound themselves, but I'll agree that the Switch from TRAX back to TVXQ was a little Awkward to me... The Metal Scream style didn't quite flow as well into this song, but it was still good to listen to in the bigger picture of things... I am a Metal/Rock/Punk Fan (And I'm fairly older than most people watching Potentially), so I'll check out more of TRAX independently and more TVXQ & BoA as well... I enjoyed this one, I'll say... Awesome job, Ben... Looking forward to the next Video...
