Characters Explained: Cactus In BFN! (PVZ) 

Personally Cactus is the most underrated character in the game. So underrated, people for some stupid reason believe that Chomper is a better sniper than her, which is something I still find extremely dumb. By default she is a great sniper, but her upgrade system makes her surprisingly good (I alredy tried those exact Potato Mine and Drone builds before the Double Damage video) She does an insane job in the right hands.

What’s funny is that people consider Deadbeard better probably because he isn’t really that much of a sniper. He has a long range tool that feeds better off of the huge hitboxes, but outside of that, there isn’t anything else. It’s all close ranged stuff. Cactus is really for those dedicated for sniping, and with enough practice, really just shows how much better Cactus is at range.

I would personally Tweak some upgrades but after all she's really good, Deadbeard is just better because 80% of the Plant Characters have HUGE ASS FAT HEADS which makes way easier to land Critical Hits

Yeah I liked the Garden Warfare drones way better. Sure they were slippery to control, but that made them WAY harder to hit as well. Drones are just a sitting duck now.

I’ve been waiting for this character explained after revisiting bfn and I realized how fun cactus was and started to call her my main

People say "Spike Strike has more DPS then Foot Solider" but I say "Spike Strike has more bullet spread then Foot Soldier. Also, I never liked how she played in GW2 since it's not what I think of when I hear "Sniper": a character who stays really far away, punishing overextending enemies and picking off important target. In GW2, Cactus and Deadbeard are the worst of Widowmaker, while the three most played Cacti are Fire, Camo, and Future, in which case all three are put into Cactus, how? The 1.4 headshot multiplier is on her final charge shot, and the other two are self explanatory. And if you want a tier list of Snipers, here's mine. Best to worst. #1: TF2: Needs a few minor changes. #2: BfN: Fixed a lot of issues with the GW Snipers #3: Widowmaker: I hate that she isn't a "Defend" or "Support" class but at least she is better to play at longer range, she's not a good sniper when compared to other games but Overwatch is a fast paced comp game and Widow is a good Sniper in her game. #4: GW 1+ 2: Their primary has bullet spread if you shoot too fast, but with the low ttk of gw, you HAVE to shoot fast, and they can't get to the high ground easily and with the inclusion of ADS and Crit Headshots while Bullet Spread is completely missing, characters like Foot Solider are able to out-snipe them. "Here's a take that will get people's panties in a twist, random bullet spread exists for a reason: It's an important balancing act for Miniguns, SMGs, Pistols and Revolvers. Obviously, because.... without Random Bullet Spread, just imagine a pinpoint accurate weapon, firing at a fast rate, that'd be a bit broken." - Zesty Jesus. I really want to comment "PvZ GW fans: BuT iT hAs DaMaGe DrOpOfF sO iT sHoUlDn'T mAtTeR!" And in my opinion, the lack of bullet spread makes character's damage output feel.... inconsistent. I NEVER liked the "Damage Dropoff start, Dropoff end" bs, I prefer what TF2 did, +50% damage at point blank, base damage at 10 m, -50% damage after 20 m, yes I did do the calculations from Hammer Units to feet and feet to Meters. It makes it more consistent. Me and my brother agree that, if damage dropoff and ramp-up was removed in TF2, nothing would change. Thank you for reading this, whenever I make something I always go all out.

Dont aleep on alacrity if your cracked enough you can instantly shoot 3 full charge shots for 297 damage in like under 5 seconds

I'm not really a fan of her in bfn ngl, she has grown a bit on me over time, but gw cactus was literally my favourite character and I really did not think she needed most of the changes, especially the primary one, like it makes sense I guess as this game really wanted to make both teams play about the same with just a few differences, but in gw I never felt like I couldn't deal with someone at close range with the reg primary or by making a clever usage of spuds and tall nuts, not much a fan of her strange new look or exaggerated voice either. I do like the new drone physics though, they are nice.

To be honest it more like a nerf but hey it’s just me.

Maybe you need to go back and fix your alacrity description. And see how broken it really is. Not saying you’re wrong in the slightest. (Actually no you’re slightly wrong) maybe try the upgrade again but this time instantly shot after the meter fills up and see how broken alacrity actually is.
