You know you can activate rally the troops without any teammates all you need to do is place the turret where the speed pad is and it will activate the cool down effect and you can do it the other way around too aka place to turret first and place the speed pad where the turret is(Yes rally the troops is even more busted than anyone probably ever thought) Also I play bfn on Switch and Xbox and I am an engineer main and my personal upgrade set up is Breakthrough Rally the Troops and Turbo charge and in my opinion this is the best set up for engineer in the game,When I use my build it usually get around 25-60 kills per game of turf and it just depends on how well I do but this is a great aggressive engineer build.
Did you know that im pretty sure the heavy helper is actually the bolt blaster from gw2 cos if you get vanquished by it, it will tell you that you were killed by the bolt blaster. They also look pretty similar.
i woulod say rubber is better, because its easier to controle choke points with it, which means you can multitask more, in 1v1's its evrtyhing. and honestly you can just leave your heavy helper to your team while playing more agressive, thats how powerfull he is, i would say its THE optimal way to play engie. and for the conclusion, im satisfied, you're safe from the engineer nation's wrath.. for now
I’ve been huge into Engineer lately. I always shied away from him because of his primary but it is ridiculously strong, especially when paired with the turret. He’s just a really fun class to play.
Engineer I’ve never fully gotten the hang of, as the projectiles are too random for my taste. Usually I just use him in Giddy Park to launch people into water by tricking them into going on the trolley.
I really don't like the rework he got, the bouncing projectiles are really unnecessary and the fact that he doesn't have an offensive ability makes it worse and if that wasn't enough I don't see any real reason on changing Sonic Grenade into Bullhorn get stunned by not even half a second Swarm
Everything you listed is what solidifies him as a support character. The bouncing grenades are for erea deniel. He's not offensive because he's a god damn support (even tho he's not bad at offense). bullhrons are just a quality of life change because unavoidable long stuns are annoying and shitty
The only time I use Engie is in the first objective of turning point (the one with the ship). His play style kinda pisses me off cuz it’s so brain dead, but it gets you many, many kills
Engineer in my opinion is one of the most underrated characters in bfn like in gw2 and gw1 I didn't really care about him but now in bfn he is so underated
