Honestly even though Skylar as a character is unlikeable af, in a lot of cases she ain't wrong at all. Her smoking while is pregnant yes that is fucking inexcusable, that is a truly piece of shit move, and also her getting herself into Walt's dirty business, even though she did try to distance herself from him when she found out about his work. But I mean her husband sinks deeper into a life of crime, at the start having family as a motive, but slowly and slowly he reveals his true self and his ego, which becomes uncontrollable and makes him by the end for him to do it only for himself. Walt deep down inside he was doing it to satisfy this desire for grandeur, for legacy, for people to respect him and fear him, for him to be seen by the world in his persona of Heisenberg, because he felt like his life was meaningless and wasted, he wasted so many opportunities like a dumbass because he was to prideful to take them, like Elliot and Gretchen, with Gretchen fumbling her and also selling his share in Gray Matter. Walter is just such a pety mf. Like Skyler cheating on Walter with Ted (as much as that scene literally made me cringe) when she told Walt to fuck off and leave her when she found out about his meth slinging side hustle is not something that's so unjustified. And honestly I also get what you mean, cause Walt wasn't such a scumbag at this point in the show. And also, how tf you just kick him out of his house? That is a bit hilarious ngl, you can't just kick bro like that 😭😭. Honestly Skyler is fucking annoying but she is right. And by Season 5, she only becomes more right about Walt since he becomes an actual killer kingpin and ruthless mf, and he becomes genuinely a threat directly and indirectly to the people around him. She was even held at gunpoint with Holly by fucking Todd and his Neo Nazis. At the start of the show, Skyler was very fucking annoying, and kinda was still an annoying character quite a lot of times, but she also had some kind of justifications especially by the end of the series, even though she would be cringe. Or also, her trying to help fucking Ted pay his taxes to the IRS, and then when Walt goes to the money so they don't fucking die, he doesn't have shit, like she was such a dumbass and so unjustified in that moment but yeah.
