Definitely will mention the book and beast considering that it needs to be mentioned that dazai can't co-exist with odasaku in any world where he is alive, unless they are enemies lol

@st3r_a5158 I tried to find a lot when searching. And the only thing that I agree with is the theory that Dazai may have been related to the previous boss or was his son. So he's been exposes to the mafia way beforehand and when the boss was ill and losing his mind, he probably either lost it on how he treated dazai, or around that time mori was the family doctor so he had access to a lot and also had access to dazai to influence him even then, to the degree that dazai learned his thoughts and plans and more so when the boss died and he confronted him about and like discussed it, mori realized just how dangerous he was in that moment. I think dazai really really was just that intelligent to read and understand where things were going to go, and played a suicidal fool infront of mori to make him believe that dazai would have taken his life and the secret of the boss's death with him. So when he didn't, dazai made it clear that mori could be the boss, but that it didn't mean that he would necessarily care for what he does or how he does it. He'll just be going along for the ride becuz he has nothing else. But when he loses his friend, and leaves. I believe that mori knew it would happen, and that he saved himself from dealing with dazai who ultimately could have sold him out to anyone but chose instead to follow odasaku's final words of advice. To save people. This saves mori from dazai's wrath for the time being.
