And this is only the Series and original “Movie” In the other timeline, he fails to stop the third impact, wakes up after a few years, his friend (asuka again) hates him for accidentally nearly killing her. His other friend (Rei) Dies. MULTIPLE TIMES. And he had to kill one of his only remaining friends because he’s part of the First Angel. Shinji fr had it BAD
