It's now been two years since I purchased this grill and it still works exactly like it did when purchased new. I have had to do nothing to it but clean it occasionally. Been a really good grill. I would recommend for sure.
Picked one of these up couple days before the 4th and it was money well spent. Not the biggest, but for sure the best BBQ'er ive ever had. Friggin LOVE it!
A few years ago I walked into walmart and these grills were on clearance for 99 bucks . Called my son and a buddy who each wanted one so I left with 3 of them . They all still work great
I have the exact same grill but I don’t know how to clean it, it’s got a little bit of rust on it and I’m scared to use it til I get the rust off, or do I have to get new parts
Great job! I myself believe in equipment longevity. I'm currently using an 18 year old hand me down Weber Genesis. "they don't make em like that anymore" Oh yes,, I have a Mercury 40 myself.
I like! You and I, is alike. I have grills and smokers and my back yard. I grill 3 or 4 times a week. We are laid back men and spend Vacations and Hawaii. We knows how to relax. 👍🤓
I went from a 25 year old gas grill with a lava rock bed to a Char Broil Tru Infrared 3 burner. I love it, no flame ups, even heat. I use less gas too, way more efficient than my old grill.
I just picked up one for free in fl. . The person was going to put it out buy the curb for free and i was there cleaning the pool so i took it home it works good and all parts are there . Only the igniter wasn't working . I'm going to clean it up and paint the sides like you did and put it back in use.👌 .
It's pretty awful with any wind. I have the same 2 burner commerical unit. Goes out all the time if you try to have the burners low and its at all windy.
I have model the Charbroil #463251413 , where the MAIN BURNER, F/ FIREBOX location of back plate to attach main burner right is rusted and leaning down, can I simply soder it for stability ???
I just got one I have a question is it supposed t click when you press the ignite button when there's no propane connected because the one I have doesn't click I'll test it with propane later?
Thanks for sharing the idea of cleaning it by power washing the grates and the plates. I was trying to figure out how to clean mine faster after getting tired of cleaning with pumice stone and nylon brushes.
