thank you thank you i have been watching videos on RU-vid and reading in other places but you answered many questions i just didn't know for sure by doing your walk around explaining the different parts i am wanting to build something much larger because i get huge amounts of oak wood waste for free i hope to see more
Looks awesome for a start up vessel. I would love to know how it works. I'm trying myself to get charcoal and bio char production started from my byproducts from firewood. Keep in touch! Best wishes!!
Consider including the production of Activated Carbon, particularly "Catalytic" AC for those who desire eliminating Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) in a potable water supply. In addition to quality input material, I think the introduction of Ozone (O3) is all that is needed to produce a higher grade of carbon... I'm also curious, how will you manage/clean the firebox during and after production? Have you calculated the estimated production rate per burn cycle? ~It's a fine-looking cooker and wishing you much success...
I would not bolt the vent cap you should just set it on top lose with a short chain so it can pop off if need be also so it doesn't get shot up in the air the risk of detention is high
