For my board, gimme speck, mortadella, grilled bratwurst, 'nduja, gouda, brie, havarti, roquefort, grapes, pickles, apples, raspberries, french bread, buttery crackers, thin plain crackers, hearty brown bread, dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, and a pepper jelly.

Fun fact : in the original, accurate french definition of a charcuterie board, pickles are usually one of the most common non-meat element you can add without the whole thing becoming something else Tao's list... kind of makes sense ?

Some of it sure, but together it's neither traditional nor modern interesting. Also he says pickles so genetically, not cornishons, not kosher dill, not bread & butter. It's not like he knows that pickles have varieties 😂 that's what kills me about this. Yes give me a cornishon and some pate, but not this generic mumble lol😂

Whats crazy is that he occasionally has the seeds of good ideas, but then goes crazy with them. Pickles are a great contrast item, but S is crazy. Cheddar is a good, basic, baseline cheese, but having it top the cheese rankings is a head scratcher.
