Thank you for making this video. I see your lack of support. I'm sharing CHARGE awareness and your video to help people of all ages learn to accept and interact with kids who are different or unique. Behavioral therapy is crucial for kids with conditions from ADHD to Bohring-Opits to CHARGE to Autism. We have to stand together to make life better for those with impairments. Thank you for being brave enough to spread awareness.
I appreciated your sharing Dr. Hartshorne. I am a Deafblind intervener and I just try to learn a little more as I travel through the profession I am in with the students. You connected something in my heart and mind when you spoke of pain. I have learned over the years as students receive gifts of communication that behaviors seem to come most times when they have pain, but cannot tell you specifically about it. That was what you had expressed I believe as well. Also, not medicating so quickly when it is a behavior that is not usual gave me something to think about...Thank you.
A very informative concerned doctor he cares about people he doesn't like labels I don't like labels I believe every condition is just that and yes you can divide them but when you start to lump something together by calling it autism I completely agree with you
