This is my 2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range that I just picked up 2 months ago. In this video I talk about free charging for your Tesla or any electric car! There are free chargers out there, you just have to be willing to go find them!

I charge at work daily. For free. On Friday’s I usually charge to 85-95%. I don’t drive much on the weekend. But I keep sentry mode on. So I lose about 4% per day. While the MYP is sitting at my house. I usually make it back to work on Monday with 40-50 percent. If I don’t go in to work (OT)or only drive around my area on the weekend. If I plan on making a trip. I will charge at home that morning. In the last 30 days. I haven’t charged at home at all.

Im a new tesla owner and a week into having my new M3 I see this video and it helped me so much. I cant charge at home but I have a super charger infront of work so that helps. After watching your video I found a free charging station near school and its saving me so much more💪🏽. Keep up the videos youre saving people money man

I live in an apartment in a rural town charger desert. Closest Tesla chargers are 15 miles in one direction and 65 miles in the other direction. Working with only 110v/12a and a 2022 MYP since the end of June, and once I got rid of range anxiety have charging down to 22% Tesla & 78% at home. Can't wait until the charger infrastructure matures for a more timely freedom of movement

The fact grocery stores don't have free charging, or even ofter ANY charging over there is mindblowing to me

Not sure if it is free but Whole Foods next to me has chargers I never see a car there. The mall says there are free spots about 20-30 of them scattered around in different places.

I think it’s great that you try so hard to get free charging, but it seems like you spend an extremely high amount of time each week charging. As an example at the end, with that CHAdeMO adapter, you say you get 25 miles of range per hour. That’s only 75 miles of range in three hours of sitting there giving up your time. Unless you are able to work and make money while sitting in your car charging it, it seems like the small cost to charge at home would be well worth your time. It cost me $.15 per kilowatt hour to charge at home, which comes out to $12.50 for 320 miles of range. And that charging takes place when I’m working out, having my dinner, relaxing, and sleeping, so it has no effect on my personal time. Just my opinions, but congrats on getting so much free charging.

Charge at work for free 😎 i thought about getting a scooter to have in the trunk do do drop charging if i need it since i live like 7 mins away from work. Ive done it once so far. Funny thing is theres a supercharger about 3 more mins away but i'd rather save a few bucks if i can 😇🤓

I can't see the options for low and mid charging stations... When i click search bar -> charging, it only gives me supercharging. I also can't see the filtering buttons. The ⚡️ ⚡️⚡️ and ⚡️⚡️⚡️ are not there... can anyone help?

We have to wait until next year to use CCS. I ordered my adapter in September and then found out it’s probably going to take a future Service Center visit…. Tesla is fixing Twitter first 😂😂

Always thought destination chargers are not great for battery if you do it often NY CITY We have ConEd electricity provider They have a program smart charge. You connect to your account with your Tesla and they actually will pay you in PayPal I usually get about $60-70 Back Eve every month

Get the "plug share" App. It will show all charging l locations and simply click on a location to see if there is a cost or not. Also get the "charge point" app, you can filter by free charging to see the free locations

Have a Model Y LR on order since February. I already have a 14-50 outlet installed in my garage for charging the Tesla when it arrives. Questions about charging: Does it hurt to leave your car parked with a lower state of charge for several days or more? Is it necessary to keep the Tesla charged to 80% when not in use? I don't want to plug the Tesla in every night if I only drive a limited amount of miles that particular day. Any insights on your charging habits would be appreciated.

My charging varies, I'll usually keep it around 70-80%. But I'll also leave it unplugged for a few at a time if I'm not driving a lot.

Never leave it on a low charge when you are going to be away from home for several days. Set your max charging limit, and times of day when you want the charging to occur, and you can just leave it plugged in when you’re not home and it will never get you above the max level you set, but will always keep you safely charged.

AMC West Jordan 12 has two chargers level two that’s in Utah Kohl’s has them as well free in Texas not sure about other states . It’s always a good thing to know where the free chargers are at . Just came from Walmart i had my car charging at the movie theaters across the street when i got dome my car was ready .

I have many apps and I look for free charges all day although I charge for free at night at home but during the day if I am out I get my free charging as well . 1600 miles on my car haven’t paid a penny for charging yet .
