I once pulled over into a Midas parking lot, pulled in a slot facing the street, and watched the cop fly by. After he passed, I got out, walked acrossed the street, and my homie picked my up. Played PlayStation at his house for a few hours to let them stars go down.

1989, I ran from a Georgia State Trooper in an 87 VW GTI 16v. The GTI had 123 hp and the cop was driving a 1989 225 hp Mustang 5.0. The chase started on 85 north from the airport heading to downtown Atlanta. I could not out run him because the GTI topped out @ 120 mph. He got stuck in traffic and I jumped off the hwy going down the on ramp. By the time he had slowed down from 135 mph, turned and came down the on ramp. We were about half mile up Steward Ave and making a left to get on hwy 166. We have not seen him sense.

We switched cars and went back to town and the officer was cruising the parking lot at a shopping center and then drove off. (The State Police Post was just up the road.) Weeks later, one of the county officers my dad knew said there was a call that went out about a speeding Monarch driven by a guy wearing a baseball cap. The state and county hated each other (the state police still gets referred to as the "Grey gods.") so, the county officer told the state officer that they got outrun by a 6-cylinder Monarch. They never told it was my dad. Then dad told me NEVER do that. GREAT VIDEO!
