Naw, Chargers fans spoke with their votes...L A will be fine for them and Las Vegas will be fine for the Raiders...Now the A's can build a new ballpark...The California sports scene just got shaken out a bit like when you pan for gold and it's all good now. No more stadium issues, unless Spanos wants to build his own place in L A later, but no pressure

Brandon Brickgram Every team has its rough patches. Raiders, Bills, Rams, 49ers and even the Patriots have all had tremendous struggles. The Chargers will be able to rebuild into a new and great team with time and hopefully one day will come back home.

This video made tears fall from my eyes, I'm a true San Diegan and loyal to my city and I loved the Chargers ever since I could remember, from the great moments in 2006 & 2007 to the bad years from 2015 til 2016, ever since I could remember I loved this team with all my heart. I'm not angry they left there's just a hole in my heart after all the memories and the love that we true Chargers fans had for them, the Chargers were San Diego, plain and simple. I was always loyal to that team, and I loved em thru good and bad. So thank you Chargers for all the happy memories and fun times you brought to a 19 yr old from San Diego, I'll never ever forget y'all. In loving memory of the San Diego Chargers 1961-2017 R.I.P

Why didn't they just stay in SD until the new stadium is finished? Like yeah announce that you're moving but stay in SD till you official get in the new stadium. They could have stayed in the 70,000 capacity stadium instead of moving TEMPORARILY to a 30,000 capacity stadium.

Abel Ramirez Yeah but they moved to a temporary place. They should have played at least 2 more seasons at Qualcomm before moving. I mean c'mon, if fans new their team was moving out, tickets would sell out from fans wanting to see their team play before moving. Thats a good business move, instead of going to a 30,000 capacity stadium(which yes, they still will sell out tickets) but still won't reach the level of profit as staying in SD for 2 more years will bring them. They should have announced that they were moving, but should have wanted actually moving till 2019, when the new stadium is done.

qualcomm was literally falling apart. the worst stadium currently in nfl, and it would cost way too much to maintain it for two more years. They can make up the money they lose thru merchandising and new fans in la. Greedy, scumbag move, but theyll definitely make money

Super heart breaking for all the people who were born & or raised in San Diego, we failed as a city but it's still hard to see them leave... I can't be an LA charger fan not my city San Diego's my city and it hurts to see them leave with all the San Diego memories, LA chargers will never reach as many years and memories as we had here... Most of the people in the city don't have enough money to help fund a new stadium. As weird as it sounds, most San Diegoans are broke. It's a beautiful city, but the taxes and cost of living are extremely high, and most people's hard-earned money goes into those two things mainly.

Khgfd Zhgtfdr things change over time. Raiders went back to Oakland and rams eventually left for St. Louis back in the 90s. LA fans only show up for a winning team.

But since the team has gone down in recent history, a lot of people who have started living in San Diego, have actually gone to their team. And what I mean is, if you haven't been to SD, it's beautiful down here. Many people from the east coast, other states move down here cause it's so nice and beautiful. But they still support their team due to the chargers recent decline in their recent records.

I feel like the Chargers will have an excellent season in 2017 with the huge additions of Joey Bosa, Hunter Henry, and Casey Hayward, especially now that Melvin Gordon is starting to blossom into a great back. With a new coach and a healthy team along with some help from the draft, the Chargers could easily have a great bounce back season, which would be amazing for the players and staff but would totally suck because Spanos would be rewarded for doing something horrible, taking the team away from its home.

I understand Dean Spanos could have done more and it seems he's selfish, which may be true, but the city of San Diego didn't do it's part either. Both sides are to blame. The only non Giants jersey I own is an authentic LT light blue one. So many immortal stories written in San Diego and they rip it away just like that? Shameful.

I don't care if the chargers aren't as good as falcons or Dallas or Seahawks, they damn well deserve as much respect with a team like theirs, they will be missed in San Diego
