What I find crazy is how much power us as individual humans use daily. It’s very cool when you break it down and learn about your own usage and what it takes to put that power back. Great video buck !
It's good to know that the Engle generator works in conjunction with the Jackery. Instead of just putting max output into the Jackery it automatically reduces it's power output. Great vid, keep 'em coming.
I had an idea for another video. If you would kindly give a tour of all of the wooden military plaques on the walls of your shed, and the stories behind all of them. Thanks. Great vid, keep 'em coming.
Hi Buck Great Clip Buck. Explaining it in layman terms how it all works. Considering putting a solar generation in the vehicle in lieu of installing battery dc2dc charger & inverter.
I have similar set up - your freezers might surprise you as they don’t cycle much and relatively energy efficient. It will save you $$$ from not chucking spoiled food. Most recent test used 44% in 10 hours or so for fridge and a few small bits and bobs.
Buck thats awesome! 🙂 Really looking forward to this series. I have plans for a generator switch at my place too but are also thinking of building a powerstation like the jackery as Plan B during an outage using a couple of 300ah lifepo4 batteries to get me through. Im thinking of recharging them using my house solar panels if possible, just got to sus out how to do this or even if this is possible. My current plan B is to use my camper trailer set up which I can already run 2 x 50l 12v fridge/freezers for around 6 days without recharge and have a total of 760w of portable solar panels to recharge my 200ah lifepo4 camper battery and my 135ah battery box AGM.
From my point of view, five hours is good particularly if it only takes an hour and a half to recharge the battery. You could do it that way for days. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts with less being run off of it. If you were to try and charge it with solar here in the U.K. you would die of old age🤣🤣
@@wakawaka1976 this unit is more designed to be portable, for the size you’re talking about you’ll be able to find much better units, Tesla power wall (maybe) ❤️🙏🇦🇺
Can you plug an external battery into the power pack ? I’m just thinking if I had a lead acid or lithium battery could I extend the range ? Could you plug your camper trailer into it to provide power back to the jackery ? 👍👍👁️👁️😎😇❤️🙏
@@Mrbuckaroonie.. thanks mate 👍👍. I actually looked at that ,but no one I know has that much money 😂😂that’s why I was wondering about a lead acid or a kings lithium battery that I already have to boost capacity without the crazy expensive. I have a 135ah lead acid and a 600w inverter that I use to recharge my dewalt batteries that I use on a drill, chainsaw, vacuum and spotlight, I wonder would it charge up the power pack or would it be too power hungry and keep tripping the inverter ? I noticed it was loving the power coming from the generator .
