Dubbed as the “Most talented girl in the world “ by Oprah. As what David Foster said of his introduction to charice “What an extraordinary talent you have produced here in the Philippines” and “The pride of the Philippines and of all Asia”. No denying, Charice is best!!

Anyone who disagrees that Morissette is the same caliber as Charise, hit the upvote button. If you're not familiar with her, watch her rendition of Never Again and I Don't Know What Love Is, where she uses her whistle register.
Jona is now my favorite singer (she is absolutely amazing), but no one has ever made me feel the music more than the one and only Charice. I have heard this a thousand times, but I still have tears well up everytime. RIP, Charice. You will never be replaced. P.S., I am not Filipino, I am American.
PH miss this incredible voice that brought incredible pride! SHE WAS INCOMPARABLE BACK THEN. She's a force to reckoned with, and she has this confidence that allow you (listener) to sit back and be amazed on how her voice arrows every. single. note. perfectly.
Oh how I miss that feeling of watching the greatness of Charice. She was then unstoppable and ultra effortlessly SINGING EVERYTHING _spot on_ What Charice once had, was her CHARISMA of GREATNESS!
Her voice was beyond words aswell as her transition from she to he, but as long as charice is happy we support him, but her old self will be truly miss.
Charice is more than just her talent, her showmanship is pure genius and so memorable in so many ways. Her music style, talent and presence just made her an amazing singer.
Your reactions were a treat to watch. It mirrors how I feel whenever I watch videos of Charice. Great way to relive that voice and talent. Thank you for this! Keep up the great work.
My idol of all Filipino singers. Very versatile and I love her way of singing. The phenomenal singer ever that even recognized by foreigners. #CHARICE😍
I've never seen you, guys, so speechless and blown. So yeah... So you do see... There's a lot of talents nowadays, but no one - no one - is at the level of Charice. It'll take them years to even reach her level. They're still studying her singing prowess atm.
I have the same reaction...speechless with hella goosebumps. Haha! :D I agree with you 100%, Persav!!!! Honestly, I really don't care for the 'whistle" notes. I am more impressed by a solid, powerful voice with effortless execution and raw emotions. Charice's level of singing...her perfornance... is still UNMATCHED!!! No disrespect to fellow Filipino artists - Regine Velasquez, Morisette Amon, Sarah Geronimo, Angeline Quinto and Katrina Velarde. The people who saw her in that concert "LIVE" are SO lucky!!! Wished I was there...TRULY EPIC
She's my idol. :'( I remember I asked her for a hug when she had a mall tour here in Bataan, Philippines. I bought her album to meet and greet her. That memory was so precious to me. She smiled at me and I hugged her!!!! She's still "Charice" at that time tho her hair is already short at that time. I miss her so much performing this way and honestly, I cry at times when I'm watching her youtube videos singing in this way. She's really a gem.
Same here. She was the template and precursor to new generation pinay singers like Morissette just like Pacquiao was to Filipino boxers. Sorely missed a gazillion times......
Stars come and go. I'm glad to be alive when Charice reach global audience. So much more covers and originals she could have killed but now he's living his true self. YOU DO YOU JAKE. 😍
I was really addicted to her. I searched the whole internet for all her performances and interviews. So sweet and charming. She was the first one I ever watched on youtube. And I still love to watch her performances.up to now. She's still no.1. Amazing voice like no other. Cheers!
Don't know how many times I've watched this reaction, and also the other reactors but I never get tired of watching the old videos of charice, I really missed charice😢
Oh i miss Charice so much with so much power in her vocals and her stage presence is awesome! Jake zyrus is doing just as well now but we so miss his alter ego!!!!
A lot of Filipinos were cruel to her. Always demanding extremely high standards from her, critisizing everything about her physical appearance at the same time shouting "Pinoy Pride" at her achievements. Tough crowd for a teenage singer aiming to please her countrymen.
Joselito King She was a singer. I don't know how critisizing her face, how she speaks English, her dress, her height and everything about her aside from her voice will make her great as you say. Then turns around and shout "Pinoy Pride" when foreigners were praisin her. If not agreeing to that kind of a messed up attitude is "dumb" and "stupid" to you then I am happy to be one. 😊
Nope, the people who made Charice successful were foreigners. She was shunned here. Looked over for lesser talents. Wow at your assumptions by this simple comment. If you can't see the hypocrisy then maybe the bubble & cotton fluff you're mentioning are blocking your sight.
Of course I know, do you know Falsevoice yada yada.... Twisting my words to force your argument wouldn't change my original comment. Enough with the verbal diarrhea.
that's why i miss Charice, her talent is amazing. i used to watch all her performances...it's sad that we can't hear that amazing voice anymore. but it's her life, her choice. thanks for reacting to this MGN!!😍💜❤ I LOVE YOU BOTH😍
You have an excellent non-judgmental and objective comment about Charice life and career!!! This reaction video commentary so far is one of the best I have ever seen among all reactors..........I can relate how you feel and think about it....Thank you guys!!!!
I can feel the weight of how you guys felt just by your reaction in the end. Honestly... we were broken hearted to see her voice go but we accept him for who he is now. During her time we thought she was “the only one” but now we have so many more talents popping out like the TNT Boys, Darryl Ong, and Morissette. We will never forget those who came before
Jose Masado she’s still the only one. Morissette is great too, but there’s no other Charice. I miss her, she could’ve been the biggest star in the world right now.
Yeah she is my most favorite singer. Ive never been this interested in a singer other than charice IDK WHY because when I listen to other singer's performance or voice and after that I never get satisfied unless I heard charice's voice
One of the reasons I was a huge fan of her was because she was not just a great singer but a great artist/performer. All this videos reminds me of those times when she was so amazing as a performer. 😢
Im glad you've seen this guys.. i was obsessed with her performances back then, searching every Charice performances on youtube and repeating them every night..
That strong yet sweet voice. That aura that seem to be so full,no fear.and an emotion while singing shes just so awesome. One in a BILLION.what a great talent.thanks for featuring this guys.
I cried when i learned that he can no longer hit notes like these... there are so many great singers but few can deliver such soul, the emotions she put to the songs and made sure she hit us with those emotions, she used to bring the “kilabot” factor that i cannot find in other singers... still makes me sad everytime i watch her old performances
This girl literally had to sing for her life. Her father abandoned her mom and brother so she joined singing contests to win money and provide for them. True definition of singing for your life.
Oh gosh, this is the kind of Charice's video that I've been waiting for you to react since I started following u guys, and I'm so happy that you did. Your reaction is what I was hoping for, and yes this performance is quite special because at that point Charice has been singing those medley with David for years already and it was the time that they decided to bring it to Philippines. The standing O at the end is also rare for Filipinos back then.
This was the Manila stop on a multi country tour for the David Foster and Friends concert. That 'showing off' vibe is maybe her way of differentiating this hometown performance from all her other performances on the said tour.
Charice actually open the opportunity to alot of talent at that time.. along with arnel pineda and manny pacquiao.. to new generations now a days.. charice gives goosebumps to her voice idk y
Im broken ... everytime i watch video of charice the memories are back ... 😢 i miss the CHARICE !! but if shes happy of being JAKE ill respect that 😧 .. thankyou for this video reaction .. still the best 💕
I was lucky to have met her in person during those time they came to Chicago, I was there. Heard her sing in person. And that’s the best hearing her sing live. I miss her old style but I am happy that she got what she wanted to be.
Jake is still here. Singing his heart out in the songs with different style. You can look for his videos too on youtube. He just released his new single called #dnm or Diamond Jake Zyrus. And the great new is his voice is getting better and better everyday. Because he was on testosterone kind of thing. Just give him some times. Then he surely comes back and doing a full belt for us again. Promise. The only thing that never change is the emotion and feeling of the song and the way he deliver the song. It still moved me like it used to. #iamjakester Love and Support #myjake ❤️
Ohh guys I've been waiting for you to make another reactions from Charice performances. She's my favorite. Very talented, gifted and promising that's why I'm so sad when she changed her voices. I hope you do more of reactions of her performances as Charice. loveyou Guys! You're the best!! 😘😘
Crab mentality. That’s what the filipinos are also known for. Always quick to claim talented filipinos at the same time always eager to criticize. They crucified Jake when he came out and announced he’s a transman. Only very few fans and filipino followers ever thought of how hard it must have been for Jake to give up his promising career as Charice, the money and fame that goes with it. Charice must have been emotionally miserable deep inside bcoz he couldn’t be himself. He kept it to himself for a long time meanwhile bringing so much pride to the Philippines. That alone should be more than enough for the filipinos to be grateful for. Jake will never be able to hit those high notes again for as long as he is taking male hormones. It sucks that Charice is gone but Jake is just as talented. I’m happy for Jake. He’s very brave to go through all of that physical and mental struggles and still make it through. Still making music and sharing his talent.
Filipino here, but ...true...but ,still proud of charice bringing out jake...he still performing,i dont think he will stop doing what he loves....famous or not.
Ilove charice even up to tihs days, i saw her on trinoma fitness first and im still crying a bit because i was really inspired by her. Godblessed charice😊😇👆🏻❤️
i was also obsessed with charice before....i saw all her gigs before...but her rendition of I BELIEVE by FANTASIA was also one of the best,,,maybe its forgotten,,,but it was so exploding!!!!!!! kindly react for it...you will not regret ...non comparable
