Not Charity freaking out at the word ‘girlfriend’ only for a few episodes later to almost have a panic attack at the thought of Vanessa with someone else💀
Charity is definitely the definition of ‘little boys pulling the little girls pigtails cause they like em’ Vanessa had her head spinning and she didn’t know what to do 🤣🤣
Another best scene is the look on Charity’s face when Vanessa called her dull/boring & Chas’s response ‘well no one is perfect’ and charity’s mini ‘shut up Chas’ 💀😭🤣
Charity is soooo crazy and wild and funny, adore her sense of humour!!!!! Brilliant Emma Atkins in role of Charity!!! The best character ever!!!!! It`s sooooo sad that writers finished their relationship....
Thank you ever so much for your hard work on these videos!!! Appreciate it more than you know!! Especially so these days and times! I've watched them, this one in particular, over and over again, because... it's all that's left of what appeared to be a wonderful unexpected love story. One filled with romance, comedy and... redemption of sorts. A suggestion of the power true love can have over one's life... changing it in ways unexpected, but mostly for the better. Imho, it gave hope to all those still searching for that kind of love and romance. Or those remembering what it once felt like to be in love. Yet, the memories of this twosome are not the kind "stuck between the pages of my mind" or "sweeten through the ages just like wine". No, these begin to fade ever so slightly with time, because they have been and are still being written over with sad, depressing storylines for Charity, that defeat the hope of ever seeing anything remotely like it again. Especially so in this age of a global pandemic. Although... even that hasn't stopped them from returning Charity to the miserable, scheming, lying, conniving, cant wait to get "a pair of manly hands" on her, as she "accesses her hetro side", and goes back to the absolute "car crash" she was before. But...thankfully YOU have saved those precious memories of what once was and the hopes of what might have been, right here for all of us to enjoy and be relived over and over again!!! Please don't take this down for awhile, eh? Surely I'm not the only one who gets a tingle from the scene at 39:00 or so, when they finally have that awesome kiss, am I? Where Charity (Emma) lets out a soft, yet meaningful sigh at the end (that's the tingley part). One which sounds so realistic and seemingly filled with longing for more to come!! Emma played it beautifully!!! Especially so since she's actually straight in real life, or so I've read. And yet she pulled no punches... no playful peck on the lips, no strained facial expressions or backing away, as I've seen other actresses do. She was right in there, even more so than Michelle. Imho. Seemingly pulling her closer... what with one hand inching towards Michelle's face, (though mindful not to block the camera angle) and the other moving up behind the latter's head. Still so realistic!! Oh and let me not forget all those coat/lapel grabs later on: pulling Vanessa towards her, the expression on her face, while leaning in... those sexy eyes on Vanessa's mouth.. WHEW!!! Is it getting hot in here or is it just me? LOL. Lawd have mercy, that woman's a fantastic actress!! Oh and the expression on her face after Paddy and Gabby walk in on them at the Vet's office... Priceless!! The accent she creates as "Toots Dingle", "barmaid by day and outlaw by night" (At least I think that's what she said). All were wonderful performances!!! Ones this ol' woman will cherish... and be able to tingle over for at least a little while yet. LOL... Thanks to you!! 'Preciate it!
@@juliegrant1670 From what I've seen on screen ... she didn't appear to have a problem a' tall. LOL. If she did, she damn sure hid it well! Imho, Michelle may have had a bit of a problem being gay and kissing a straight woman. After watching their kisses, over and over again, what I noticed was Michelle is always the one kinda holding back or shrinking back, while Emma is leaning in. And granted that might be because the script called for it. Or either Michelle was holding back with good reason, I assume, since she wouldn't want to make the other actress uncomfortable? Truth be told, the first time I viewed their kiss in the cellar, my gaydar went off ... and not towards Michelle. LOL. This was before I read one of them was actually gay. Once I knew, although still didn't know which one was Michelle, I went back and watched a video compiled of only their kisses and... my gaydar, flawed though it is, again went off in the WRONG direction! LOL. Thinking this may be caused by my personal attraction to Emma, I got a gay friend to watch them. Her gaydar was wrong too, even though she preferred Michelle's character. So, Imho, for a straight woman, Emma sure did a wonderfully, believable job of acting during those kisses. LOL. A helluva lot better than most straight actresses I've ever seen, that's for sure. Or even Michelle, for that matter. LOL
Replying to yr comment, yes u r right I noticed Michelle was the one holding back, as u said she might hve been feeling a little bit embarrassed about kissing emma, it didn't seem to bother emma at all. I think I would hold back too, as I'm gay and Emma is absolutely gorgeous, lucky Michelle take care from Australia
it's the way Charity hooks Vanessa's chin up and then pulls her into the kiss. their first kiss. It's a proper kiss as well. not the shitty kisses actors usually do. a real, proper kiss. all of their kisses are and it just leaves me weak bc #VanityIsEndGame. I know Michelle is gay irl but you would think Emma is too by the way she gets into the passion of kisses, the way she always leads the way and doesn't shy away from making the moves. It's like the roles reversed, bc Charity is bi and Vanessa straight, but irl, Emma is straight and Michelle gay, and yes that could be how Charity is written but Emma has such a unique and beautiful talent, she makes it feel like it is real, and that she could be gay, like Michelle irl. It's just so beautiful to watch. They make me feel like they are a real-life couple, and not just on a soap. The chemistry between them both is just undeniable. They make my heartache. I love them so much. Also, can we appreciate the little facial expressions when she says 'one pair of hands' and 'whiskeys on the house' and just her facial expressions in general, also the way she says certain things. 'I am the owner' killed me. the feels that my gay self can't deal with. leaves me weak ❤️ Lastly, mini appreciation post for Lucy Pagerter/Chas bc her quick wit, sassy way of saying her lines/dealing with Charity & facial expressions always makes me giggle. p.s Amy Walsh looks so much like her sister it's scary. (Tracey Metcalfe for those who dk)
I never watched their storyline, but I can see why a lot of people want Charity back with Vanessa. They actually have a good chemistry together (and none with Mack). Now, I want Charity with Vanessa and Mack with Aaron.
Got an idea, for anyone out there who makes music videos. May be a "brain fart", but here goes: I was listening to "Assassin's Tango" by John Powell, soundtrack of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" movie. To me, the scenes starting at 29:45, especially after Rhona says "put down your girlfriend..." would be a good starting point for this song. Definitely some editing of scenes needed in between to take out irrelevant parts. The voices left in playing over the music, perhaps? May even need the over 5 minute version by philharmonic orchestra which isn't quite as dramatic or... intriguing? Either way, the song could end at 37:33, the scene plays out from there with no music and ends with the awesome 'kiss'. Maybe it's just me, but I've always viewed the "tango", as a bit of struggle between the two dancers. A 'push me, pull me', if you will. A sensual, seductive, even erotic struggle, as it were, that lovers sometimes go through, when they are afraid of falling in love. Which appears to be what's going on with Charity in these particular scenes. Hope someone else will find this idea intriguing and take up the challenge. If I could... which I can't... I'd do it myself. Sure wish I could, though, cause it works in my mind, at least. LOL
