Oh nice shirt and shorts set. I just bought a vintage Aunt Daisy cookbook. She was famous here in NZ in the 2nd world War for her radio show and cookbook. She went to England to visit the WI.

Mr. C, I love the fact that you found and bought Tarot and Oracle cards. I have several of both. Good for you. Also, I really like mosaic art, so the candle lantern is perfect! I like the Starbucks cups. I was grew up in Seattle long before the Starbuck's was in operation, Seattle is my home town. I've been to the original flagship store in Pike Place Market a lot. I used to work in downtown Seattle, so it was an easy walk at my lunch hour. I now live a little southwest of Tacoma, WA. Blessings, Vintage Gal

I'd use those terracotta pots for small bulbs so you could have some paperwhite narcissis at Christmas or grape hyacinths....

Make sure you trim the wick as this will stop the candle producing soot.

I have the Halloween Yankee votives holder 💙 I am a Yankee geek, trim the wick before use to stop burning at a higher temperature and stop the smoke, also the top of the lamp is like Yankee illuma lid to stop draughts and you get an even burn & stop tunnelling. 😉

When you burn a candle and you blow it out after the first use . Pour the wax away .you will find it will burn flat until it is all used up after that . ❤

Hi Ewan. Some great finds there. Regarding your tarot cards, just a tip for you. Ensure the deck is always wrapped in a piece of silk or velvet 🥰. This is to block outside influences from the cards. Silk is the best. X

I seen a tip on RU-vid short recently where you can use ziplock bags as a sort vacuum bag tpwhen packing so you can get more stuff in your case. Put clothes in bag zip shut leaving about an inch open roll bag up from the bottom to remove air an then zip shut the lady also recommended ripping up detergent sheet into smaller squares and putting them in with clothes in ziplock bag to make the smell nice and that small square would be enough detergentt o wash the contentsof the bag.

I’m going to an indoor ‘car boot’ tomorrow as a vendor, I’ll be selling my art and crafts. Hopefully it’ll be a good day. I was a vendor at a small ‘mini market’ in the village near me, it was a lovely day and I sold a few things. I love your outfit, it looks very cool and comfortable xx ps. Lots of cool finds this week Iwan, Faves are, the Yankie candle vases, the sugar jar, Fortnums and mason bag, hooks, all good ideas. Love the way you kept forgetting your words, I do that all the time! Freebies were good as well that basket planter is nice perhaps could be painted white? Loved seeing Foxy going for a wander. The best bit though was Mittens having a lovely bath behind you pretty much for the whole time!! Thank you for this weeks Vlog, always makes me smile. You will love that beach towel! It is absorbent and quick drying. Great for traveling, you can use it as a little blanket on the plane too.I switched to the Turkish cotton type towels last year and I love them.

Yes Brilliant charity shop I got one of the Yankee candles to cut the week because a little bone and it’s got Yankee candle print on it because I remember you said that you have to cut your wick after you level so it will burn properly 👍👍👍🐾🐾🐾🐾🐈🐈
