There has to be a series 2. This is a cliff hanger there is too much to not go into. - Vickys “new me” - the future of sue as manager - future of the shop - the forkin refurb
I want a new series...nothing this funny on available anywhere atm.The only shows which have came close are ‘the thick of it’ ‘Nighty Night’ and Motherland . There is so much on TV that just isn’t funny, how come this hasn’t made it to mainstream?
Yes! I think this every episode! I don't think people appreciate how difficult it is to portray totally ordinary people (which they all are apart from Sue) in a convincing way. And they all do it SO well! V. understated and insanely believable, which makes it even funnier imo. The writing definitely helps too - the conversations are so insanely natural and the way they react to Sue's nonsense is so real that I sometimes can't believe this isn't real ahahah
Err scuse me laydeh can I speak to the manager ? What am I meant look forward to on a Tuesdee night now ? Stop playing funny buggars Sue an get yerself back on the RU-vid for next week or HR will av another complaint x
You've managed to make a series tht rivals anything BBC, C4 or ITV have done in the past few years. Amazing show from start to finish. A mix of Kath And Kim, The Office and Parks & Rec via Bulwell. Superb casting and allround funny show. Xxx
I'd also say a bit of Nighty Night and Alan Partridge. BBC and C4 has mostly been putting out shit sitcoms for years now. Where once BBC and C4 were kings of comedy.
Honestly this would be such a hit as tv series, the BBC need to get all over this, it's better than any of their so called comedies lately, the setting, the acting, the humour it's all brilliant
The only issue with that is that the bbc would wanna make it all child freindly and all that and they would wanna make it there type of show and sue wouldn't have that she wouldn't stand for that. She needs to get her own TV channel and do it her self so she can follow her own rules
The finale? No it can't end I only discovered it last week and am way too invested in it. Sue now needs to set up a charity helpline for those of us who have become addicted to it!!!!
i'm BAWLING!! absolute PERFECT ending. this episode is just too quotable. and how do i even quote sue's MOVES?! @5:04 sue you did THAT!! also, pllssssss give us some outtakes or behind the scenes! xo love it
From start to finish, this has been absolutely incredible. Believe in Sec*Hand Chances, laydehs! Genuinely want to say thank you to everyone involved for one of the best series I have ever seen. Beautifully observed, a mixture of Nighty Night and Kath & Kim rolled into one. Thank you, laydeh xxx
Shout out to all of the writers and team behind Charity Shop Sue. I only found the videos at the start of the year and have to say it’s been some of the best comedy I’ve seen in years. It also hasn’t been the easiest of times for me, and this show has brought a smile to my face, so thank you. I don’t know the background, but I’m shocked that this hasn’t been picked up. If it had come down to financing, I for one would’ve supported you guys with many other fans. Looking forward to the audiobook, can’t wait!
What's the point of even having Tuesdays anymore if we haven't got Sue and the gang? 😢. What a fantastic series, every character so different but equally brilliant and believable. Hats off to the script writers too. Particular highlight being Sue post funeral- drunken trollop!!
A pretty epic adventure with some wonderfully observed characters. I felt properly emotional throughout these last 12 minutes which just affirms the quality of what I’ve been through. More please. Surely Sue deserves a Sec* Hand Series. 🙏🏾
Vickey can sing it is evident during the last bit "Now I know you do" she sings in key with Mad cat. I love how she is out of pitch during the rest of the song. Can we also admire Sue giving Vera a lap dance.
Lol mad cat, oh I surly wasn't. Actually the name madalicat was my email address, mad was added to my nickname Alicat. A play on words Ali short for my name Alison and cat because in my early 20s after we performed in amature stage shows, friends would hop in my car and we would go for midnight drives around Clumber Park, hence the nick name Alicat was formed. Just a bit of info. Glad you enjoyed this series, fingers crossed for a 2nd one.
@@Alison-Shy-Serendipity Oh my gosh, what a wonderful post to see. Thank you Alison for responding. That is lovely little bit of trivia about you and the origins of Alicat. I am so looking forward to a 2nd series since it left on a bit of a cliff hanger. Your character is one of my favorites.
What an EPIC ENDING!!!!! I was in tears at the end, I’m going to miss Suesday. These past 6 weeks have been some of the most thrilling of my life, thanks to this show.
Thanks to this series, my acne has cleared, my crops are thriving, and my depression is cured. Thank you Sue Tuke (Manager) and all at Sec*nd Chances. (Not you Janet - you cow)
Literally binge watched the entire thing in one afternoon and my only regret is that there’s no more episodes after this !! This seriously deserves its own series on TV😭🤣🤣
This is my 5th time binge watching the whole lot - I'm so obsessed with Charity Shop Sue. I feel like Sue might be a distant relative of Jill from Nighty Night, or maybe Sue styled her in Paris, Milan or Bulwell. We need a second series for Sue's sec-hand chance!
I get the sense that the fashion show was the part what was meant to have "Lucky Star" by Madonna as the background music before they realised how expensive it was. Just a feeling. But the track they made suits it even better. Amazing editing from the guys too
Best series on RU-vid! What an emotional finish. Thank you to everyone behind this production. I didn’t even know I needed it, and I can’t imagine my Tuesdays without it. Love y’all!
I cannot believe that rupaul called her on her show!!! That’s amazing!!!! I really proud of rupaul she can sense talent no matter what!!! Amazing!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This series is fantastic. So glad I found it. I really hope whichever channel picks it up for a series (and it will happen!) doesn't try and dumb it down, or have too much input, because this is comedy genius.
