You make all your finds so interesting. Our charity shops are very poor, went to Carlisle for an overnight stay and the charity shops were fab - filled my case! Defo interested in purchasing paper bundles from you.
Yeah I am very fortunate with the shops near me and there are so many of them as well! I will start thinking about what to put in my bundles and work out postage etc for them. Watched this space as they say :-)
Those patterns you found in the woman’s weekly, are iron on transfers. I’m sure they can be ironed onto journal pages. The red book by the winter fire, is in art nouveau style, which was very late 1800’s till the first decade 1900’s. Art deco was mainly in the 1930’s, and is more stylised and geometric, where as art nouveau is full of swirls and botanicals and dreamy ladies. This can help date an undated book.😊
Yeah I imagine the postage would make it too expensive for you, I am going to make up an A4 box that goes as large letter here and see what international postage would be :-)
Question one - How do you have an abundance of sunshine, I think we've had one day of sun since we got back from the retreat, nearly a month ago, it's been very cloudy and cold (it was only 16 degrees today!) I'm back in winter jumpers lol. Question two - how lucky are you with all those gorgeous books. I loved the one with the handwritten 'look' poems that was stunning. I love watching your hauls and ooohing and ahhhing over your lovely purchases
HaHa we have a saying here "It's never dull in 'ull' lol we have had some poor days but yes we have had some lovely weather as well. I met Vicki on Tuesday and we had a good mooch in the charity shops and bagged a few bargains and great finds. Very exciting to have someone near me now who is into making journals :-)
