Would love to see a challenge where you set a budget of maybe $25 for the charity shops and then trade that all in to cex. Would be fun to see what you could do working with a more set amount of money

⁠@@RetroGamesIreland I think if you do something like the $10 game challenge just set a few goals along the way so that the challenge has direction. Sometimes those get lost in just accumulating items without a reason

Yeah was thinking if I do it would split it into seasons. So first goal get it to €500 worth of games in the collection. Then if that works do a season 2 growing it to another amount etc. Even if I can get it that far in the first place but worth a try.

Killing it out there dude! I do have a question for you though. Are there a bunch of other hunters (collectors & resellers) out in your area? It has felt like it’s gotten a lot tougher over the past year or two in my area at the charity shops to find anything. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Time and a place definitely has a lot to do with it. You got a couple of great flips here in this one brother. Heck yeah! Happy to see it come your way. Never gonna go wrong with the switch game find. I don’t see them at all at thrift stores. WWF games are solid trade and sell games when I find them too. Fracture is one on my PS3 shortlist to get in the collection. Good stuff man. Cheers! 🍻

Cheers dude! Yeah there’s a defo a lot more out there picking the charity shops. But time and place has everything to do with it. Hadn’t seen anything in one of my better ones for a few weeks and bumped into someone who actually watches the channel in there one day. Thought for sure they were getting ahead of me and was cursing myself for showing off all my favourite haunts. But got talking to someone that works in there and told me there hadn’t been a game donated in weeks. So that gave me some renewed hope. It’s still been a dry spell though but if I’ve learned anything it’s always when you think it’s run its course that something amazing shows up. That’s why we keep hitting them dude never know when the next big score is just sitting there waiting for us! I just try stay positive and do my best to make the most of what I find now

Class video man, nice score with the crash titans game , that and crash mind over mutant on the 360 are fairly hard to come by Mario kart, bargain at €25 - if you have it digitally and are happy enough with it I’d probably throw it on adverts for €35/€40 Really Looking forward to seeing the videos from IGM 🙌🏼

When you were flicking through the DVDs (after the €5 Kinect game) 2:49 there was a network dvd of Emmerdale trades in for £4, sells for quite a bit more on eBay.

Nice video mate, any idea on the overall outlay for the Twilight Princess? Perhaps could do a video breaking down the challenge since it was such a long grind, money spent vs. trade vouchers, time spent etc.

Yeah could be a good shout that before I start a new series doing something similar. Would have to go back and look and tot it all up but i’d say it was less than 25% of the cost. You have me curious now I’ll have to go back for a look and break it down properly!

I remember a few years back, going over to a charity shop in Malahide to pick up a brand new Wii special edition they had for sale. Worth the trip but can't remember the name of the shop.

Channels great man but something I'd like you to think about is your music placement when it comes to volume i was listening with my speaker on 100 the other day and it just started playing retro music 200% louder than the rest of the video scared the shit out of me.

No way you serious? I watch all my videos on headphones so I’m normally really careful to check for spikes. Sorry about that can you remember whereabouts in the video just so I can check what went wrong? I did have some issues with copyright where I had to raise it slightly and lower the background at one point and took me a good few attempts to get it approved might have let something slip there! Thanks for letting me know and for checking out the videos appreciate every little bit of feedback I can get I’m still learning after all this time!
