A short video review of a rather rare electric guitar Charizma 98SLPM (Les Paul) 390. Charizma instruments were produced in Malaysia for the domestic market, a series of guitars from this company were produced from 2014 to 2020, at the moment the company is closed.
The design has a canonical glued neck, which is quite appreciated among lovers of Les Pauls. The body is made of three pieces of mahogany with a maple top. The neck of the electric guitar is made of Maple with a Rosewood fretboard.
The mechanics on this guitar were installed in two variations, classic silver and black chrome "Black Die-cast Grover Style", so this model has the prefix "Black Edition".
The neck of the Charizma 98SLPM electric guitar is equipped with 22 frets, and the guitar itself has a scale of 628 mm / 24.75"
The classic 3-position switch for Les Paul electric guitars is paired with 2 volume potentiometers and 2 tone knobs, respectively. Charisma electric guitar of this model is equipped with 2 Humbucker-type pickups, with closed cores.
The guitar is easily tuned thanks to the adjustment of the truss rod located in the body of the neck (with a bullet led out under the cover on the head of the neck), as well as the Tune-O-Matic tailpiece.
For an electric guitar from Malaysia, Charizma is a decent enough small-scale specimen, which, if desired, can be brought to mind by changing a set of pickups, as well as mechanics. But even without these manipulations, the guitar is excellent, at least the guitar of the Les Paul shape of this company has positive reviews!
