The Earrings Charlene was wearing in the last part of the video is the same earrings the eventual winner Miss India Sushmita Sen wore when she was crowned. Sushmita lost her earrings for her final gown that night.. and there was Charlene to the rescue. Queen Helping Queen. Charlene showed how Filipinos are Helpful and Hospitable being Philippines was the host country. Proud of Her.

Till this day as per Sushmita's interview... she still has the earrings coz when she tried to return this to Charlene the latter refuse and gifted to her insted. Shusmita considers this her one of her lucky charm and as per her a testament how good hearted Filipinos are.
I also noticed it today. Sushmita never revisited the Philippines until she became a has been and needed to Pinoy bait. Cant blame her though, she knew the Philippines made her a Dark Horse.

@@UnmaskingPTSDI can not agree on your comment, F.Y.I. even if the 1994 Miss Universe was not held in Manila, Charlene will surely classified in the Top 10 because she really a top caliber, her beauty is shining in every aspect of the pageant, she is great in the Interview, Swimsuit but in evening gown i am not sure if it would give her a high preliminary score? i am not satisfied for her yellow/gold debutante gown, her black evening gown in Binibining Pilipinas 1994 is i think much better
Wrong hairstyle and 99% of Filipinos do not know who is Super Woman. Her hairstyle really ruined her chances. But she was more worthy than Sushmita. I saw all those girl up close.

I think Charlene in the terno competition is wearing the earrings she eventually gave to Sushmita during the coronation. Sushmita initially borrowed them after losing her earrings but Charlene refused to have them back as they were Susmita's winning earrings.

This was in the 90's where 70-80's hairstyle & ball gowns (sagala type) are already out pero pinilit pa din sa knya. She looked old in that styling. It could have been better if her hair & gown were different

Miss Shushmita her co delegate won that year . Magaling performance ni charlene its just that the stars are aligned for Miss Shusmita . One of my favorite winner , she really stun me with her brilliant answer
