Charles rekindled his relationship with Camilla after Diana had cheated with other men and he had only ONE extramarital relationship. You and your glossy image of a Diana who never existed 😂

He lived either in the officers quarters and also shared a flat in London with another man, both living bachelor lives. When he was stationed abroad he'd have a mistress with him. The technical adultery (both Charles' and Diana's) is literally irrelevant. Everyone - including and perhaps especially Diana - was better off when the Waleses uncoupled. Even if no one had "cheated," Charles wasn't going to magically become emotionally available, the marriage still would have sucked, and then Diana would've become the villain because she "forced" Charles to give up the love of his life to play the faithful husband. Diana was a good decade younger than her husband and would have benefited tremendously by waiting a few years to accept anybody's marriage proposal. This is why Catherine and William have such a strong bond. They learned from his parents and waited.

Parker Bowles eventually proposed to Camilla and Charles heard the news when he was still away at sea. As a woman with a 'dating history' Camilla was not deemed a suitable match for a future King, so the Queen was never going to accept Camilla as a future wife. That is how it was in those days and the Queen & Queen Mother pressured Charles to marry the virgin Diana who was guaranteed not to bring 'scandal' to the Monarchy because of the tabloids digging up dirt.
