Fantastic, This is the acid I'm about, soulful lyrics. Great job recreating as always man. I First heard this in the Hacienda (manchester 1988) And I'm here now re mixing re living and re loving. Thank you. Big love one and all.
This is great thank you.. nice to see a TD-3 in one of your vids .. I’d imagine it’s probably the most used 303 clone thanks to its price and it holds up well in this situation. Be great to hear in your future recreations how the TD3 compares to the real thing..
Bin immer noch sehr dankbar, dass du meinen Vorschlag umgesetzt hast. Macht nichts, wenn du aktuell keinen Bock mehr hast auf Pattern-Recreation, aber bitte ein Lebenszeichen senden! 😅
I always look forward to a new video from you. The simplicity of the explanation is very nice and thanks to you I am learning my 303 better every day! thank you for your videos and I hope you keep making videos/tutorials for years to come! In particular, I want to introduce you to Woo York! they keep the 303 alive with their music! hope you can make a tutorial of the song " Woo York- Paloma” soon
Nice video as always! P.S.: Can you do a video where you explain the music theory behind Acid house basslines? (ex: scales used, intervals, timing, slide placement)
Thanks! 🙂 Honestly, I don't know. 😅 Is there a certain theory or scheme behind it? Perhaps I (born in 82) am also a bit too young for the "old" acid. I only rebuild the patterns, but I leave the creating to others. 👍
@@DuckTronic okay then! I'll study all the acid patterns until i'll find the secret behind them. :)))) From what I know, I have noticed that the semitone interval is used quite often to give the track a minor, dark atmosphere. The third (major or minor) gives dynamicity and tension to the pattern. I also noticed that the G note is often used in acid house. Let's see if I find more like these!
@@skarryprankhunter I've already started this twice, but I just can't get the second 303 pattern in the background to work. And I don't want to make only half a song either.
@@skarryprankhunter The first part is pretty straightforward, 16 steps, each step is a note. No accents or transposes: G Slide G G Slide G Slide G G B G B G Slide G B G Slide G Slide G B
As always a really nice Video. I really didn't know about this track. Maybe you can choose a more popular one next time? Arms of heaven from Sunbeam for example has two 303 Pattern inside. But this is only a suggestion.
Thanks, Trackcheck! I could only hear one 303 line on the maxi version of "Arms Of Heaven". But it's not very complicated. Similar to the second pattern in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5yYlwUhF-M8.html Try it out 😉👍
