My dad was born in Belfast Northern Ireland in 1924. He emigrated to America in 1948. He was drafted into the US Army in 1949. He told me (when I was young) that while in Alabama on leave he was with a fellow soldier who was black and my dad suggested they go into a bar. His fellow soldier told him that " I can't go in there with you" and my dad was disgusted that any soldier serving his country couldn't go into a bar because of his color.
Charles is a nice guy. It's too bad he is being led in an interview by CNN with loaded questions. The disgusting things we all have seen are more about the very young Left, taking over the streets and vandalizing the properties of businesses, many owned by black and immigrant families who worked hard to build them.
