Brunson a great playoff performer getting underpaid (his choice) I know meanwhile you got playoff choke artists like Paul George getting paid much more
people can see this two ways--- why not wait for a massive money why take it now. taking it now guarantees you to have money, rather than injuring yourself in the future and not having offered this big.. maybe brunson knows thibs still gonna soak him with unlimited massive playing time and that will worn him out.. its a good deal, and having the knicks more flexibility to add legit players.
How much was he suppose to make this year though. You got to factor that in. And how much do you expect him to make the first year of that 4th year where he would now be off his contract and would have been under contract.
i like chuck but i dont think the olympics is the best sporting event in the world. It could be though , if the olympics shared some of the revenue they make to all the athletes participating in the games then i’ll start watching the olympics. You have to share that revenue because you dont have a show if there are no athletes partcipating and giving it everything they have. Stop being greedy. Share ! Its only fair .
@@cam8868 Bro, he is a divorce away from losing most of that through 50% asset split, lawyer fees, Alimony and child support payments. And don’t say: “It won’t happen to him”. It is literally the playbook for most of these athletes. He has enough money that his WIFE will never have to work again if she decides to leave
The knicks are going to regret it. Mark this. The more talent you put around him the less chances he’s going to continue to shine. He is no different than Isiah Thomas (the 2nd one) who’d score 30 points a game but was a ball dominant player. Brunson is a poor man Harden who’s successful in this league coz he flops and goes to the line 20 times a game for pushing the defensive player. Obviously, it doesn’t and it will not work in the playoffs. He knows very well that his stats will drop and wanted to lock this contract as soon as possible. The Knicks made a big mistake. Just wait and see
Really, he took a c. $40m paycut for the first three years. He will reject his PO fourth year and be legible to sign for a mega 35% cap max contract. Great for JB still and helps the team.
