For example, Shaquille O'Neal played something like 3 years of the decade and is a better player than Dwight Howard over his total career, but Dwight Howard played more in the decade, all of it, and performed better than Shaq in the specific decade 2010-2020. So Charles was saying, in that instance, who would be picked.
