ecky1965 Hahaha,Its a Satellite Sebring. Luckily it has RoadRunner options:383,Mopars: ''High Impact'' (Extra $15.05 dollar) Bahama Yellow Paint (Racing Mirrors painted to match) $5.00 dollar S-83 Rim Blow Steering Wheel that came in E-Bodies etc. The Satellite was the base car with two other trims to it: Satellite Sebring and Sebring Plus. Then there was RR,then the top of the line GTX. My car was supposed to have a 318 with hubcaps... Instead hahaha, somebody ordered the base car and put the RR options on it: maybe to avoid the high insurance premiums (the GTX and RR insurance was higher... But if you had the base model car and put the same engine in: the price for insurance etc. wouldn't have risen by much...) That's a thought,I'm not sure... But to say the least: it is rare... I wish I had an accurate number of how many Satellites could have possible been ordered with big blocks... Also, this one stands out... If you've seen the Dukes season 2: you'll remember Daisy had one... Thought to be a RR: it was actually the 71 Satellite dressed as a 71 RR as they had a problem locating them and buying them in California so they got the much cheaper and higher production numbered Satellite Sebring,Possibly some Sebring Pluses and blacked out the grill. Only thing is: The satellite hood is different than the RR and the GTX hood for 71. Also (before the 71 they used real 73-74 RR's which saw a strike change) But. the same stripe was on the 71's,No one thought to check that... Hahahaha,Thanks for asking friend,I don't get to tell people about the car much... Thumbs Up! Oh,and is that your cool Trans Am?!
3:00 My goodness that Black T-Top Chevy Monte Carlo is gorgeous .... I miss that era with all those fabulous American cars , all the wheels had beauty trim rings and hub caps ...
clearly 2 T/As first one has ralley 2 wheels and 6.6 liter on the scoop meaning olds 403 auto....second one has snowflakes and you can hear it shift gears like a manual...possibly a T/A 6.6 meaning 400 4 speed or 301 4 speed
