First drawing I ever sent Charlie was a cartoon of him posing with a speech bubble saying tickle my feet. He wrote straight back telling me all about the Iraq hostages. So to hear him talk about it is magic for me.
The dead cat on Paul's head story... 'kinell. Mr. Salvador sounds far better than I'd anticipated. The strength of character and iron will to be this charismatic and chipper after what he's endured is genuinely moving. Blessings to you both.
Just been listening to this on the train home from my 4th 12 hour shift of the week. Giggling my head off, was an absolute joy to listen to, thank you.
@@oystergold6521 stfu Charlie doesn't lie pal and he had it in his book and the Duffy story was in there aswel and that was years ago he was in there with them all mate hes met them all
I honestly think that would be scarier than any combo of hard nutz in this country. Duffy/ bronson!!!!! 😬 people now days thinking they hard they would climb up their own arse in front of these dogs 🐶
@@oystergold6521 just don’t make sense?! Bro son ai t no bullshitter he knows who’s who in the prison system! He ain’t a liar or a fella dropping names to look tough the guy is tough! I’m not being rude to ya but I really can’t see him getting it wrong he told detailed stories of both guys that I’ve heard elsewhere !!? But I can’t say I do t know bro?
@@oystergold6521 fair play mr! Tbh I do take a lot from old school villains maybe a bit to gospel but Bronson I really do believe but like you say it’s a money game now all the stories from the old days and talking about crims from other towns so shouldn’t be surprised if it’s hear say! Thanks for your views tho geez I try to keep open minded
Wow I can’t believe that was Charles z Bronson. His laugh is infectious. Was watching everything on Paul Sykes and got to you. I will definitely be watching the others. xxxxx
@@colinmatheson9770 these show him to be a normal, decent person who fucked up in the past but is wanting to get released and also James English's effort was wank.
The cat story is just so funny. Like bronson said it’s naughty but the way he tells it you just no it happened. The old school have a way with words. love this mate new sub

@@tommy2guns220 exactly mate. His voice and how he goes up and down with the pitch and gets excited it’s perfect! Even his vocabulary is spot on. They used to ring each other all the time though didn’t they when making Bronson so no wonder I suppose
Magic that. What a truly good show that was Steve think its time to get Charlie out of there and on the circuit. That Man has some stories to tell Free Charlie Now....
You never no I thought that but Charlie seems to know his boxers so to get the 2 mixed up I highly dought or if he did he would correct it seconds later either way for me Leanord is definitely in top 10 of all time
@@tommy2guns220 - Charlie said, ... (where have I heard that before? Ha ha!) Charlie said, "... Sugar Ray, of course." Steve interjected, "Leonard." From a scholar of the game, you'd normally expect Robinson to spring to mind quite early - his name has kind of been etched in stone for longer, across more generations of great fighters and trainers. Me, being a relative casual observer: first names to spring to mind are personal favourites who I saw in real time. Leonard being one of the earliest. But, yes, as you say, certainly worthy of mention whether you liked him or not. Oddly (because I'm sure he was before my time - I probably saw a retrospective feature on his career and certainly was impressed by his unusual style), Floyd Patterson before him. Chris Eubank after. Some might say Eubank was fortunate not to have been on the scene at the same time as the axis of Leonard / Hagler / Hearns / Duran (although of course Duran was still making comebacks into the late '90s, too old to come into genuine contention with Eubank). I would say Eubank probably wouldn't see it that way. Benn (Nigel, not Wedgie) too, for that matter. Quite a few fighters down the years have confounded odds / reputations. He (they) was/were certainly one/two of them. If you see what I mean. Ha ha! Similarly, this is where Charlie rings so true with a fighter's perspective. He and Steve were talking about a possible match being touted with some notorious fighter (Roy Shaw, Lenny McLean? Please correct me if I've got that wrong) back in the day. Steve suggested something along the lines of a routine win. Charlie, for all his confidence and conviction, doesn't see it that way. He knows fights are not won on paper. This is why I can't bring myself to rate fighters by number across different eras. All you can do is excel in your own era and sit among the greats of all eras. One more childhood favourite of mine: the Louisville Lip. Any fighter who earns a nickname based on his kissing ability immediately gets my respect. Ha ha! Although Ali was still competing at the top in my time, his credentials were in the bag years before. Those credentials are impossible to ignore but what I really loved about Ali was his character - the banter. Always goofing around during interviews. I dare say I'm not alone in that appreciation. Thanks for your reply, mate.
Iv read all his books an received a letter or 2 from charlie, spent most my time in young offenders reading them, what a funny man, it's great to hear you boy, LEGAND,

Great interview mate. Charlie’s a right character! You mentioned Sykes, CB disputes the things Sykes done to YO’s. Mate it’s true! I was in Armley on YO’s and we had to go through a cons wing to get to the yard, Sykes would stand in the area by his cell, his was the first. I saw him drag a YO into his cell and bang the door shut! The kid was in his cell for over an hour and he was a wreck when he came back the wing! He done quite a few YO’s…
I really hope he gets released ,I think hes done his time, reading his book made me sad ,but also hes made something out of himself aswell, I really wish him the best
110% Charlie you will get out YOU deserve IT every minute of your FREEDOM Your DESERVE you worked hard to get to be released. All best love & respect from Australia 3🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺👍
Wow never knew Bronson was locked up in Walton laah wow mans a G how he respected curtis Warren yo shows you how laid back he is and not the animal hes presecived to be by the media mans got stories to tell can listen to our charlie all day
I never understand how so many people put Tyson up as 1 of the best of all time , he was smashing all the lower level fighters coming up but he came unstuck with the elite like Evander & Lewis, people use the excuse that he was taking drugs & not training but 90% of a fighters weapons is mental strength & self discipline to train hard so if it’s missing your a lesser fighter
@@wezzbeet2923 I'm sure he's intelligent enough to know this, but he's obviously more concerned with maintaining his notoriety and celebrity status than he is with gaining his freedom.
Mate il not miss a second of these videos iv been reading his books from day 1 iv already shared it with everyone I know I’m surprised there not on millions of views already once people here of these mate they will go massive it’s never been Allowed before due to the bastards not wanting people to hear the truth about his torture if he don’t get released soon then this country wants blowing up he’s an old man mow and a lovely bloke
@@NUFCMatters brilliant Steve absolutely brilliant mate can’t praise you enough for being a real friend to chaz he needs people like you maximum respect mate you should be proud 👍🏻
Ok Lee Duffy and Viv Graham are both deceased but you can hear Bronsons respect for Duffy in his tone but less for Viv. Duffy must’ve really been as hard as he’s been made out to be.
@@oystergold6521 are you a muppet Charlie Bronson doesn't lie and even Lee Duffy told that story to his friends by all acount it was even in Bronsons book years ago
I lived with Fred in Jesmond in the mid 90s. Seriously scary bloke. Whenever I hear Floyds 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond' I think of him because the laugh in it is just like his. But he'd laugh and his eyes were just bottomless lifeless pits.
I fucking love Charlie Bronson,he'll be a millionaire when he gets out the amout of publicity on him, imagaine his book and podcast! Stevie make sure your his manager mate,UTB
