Lovely interpretation ; great dynamics. As a church choral director. I loved the shots of this conductor. His wonderfully expressive face says it all !!😇😇

It is solid, but it's not Tenebrae. The conductor is not breathing with them, letting them flow enough and is holding them back at times with the sort of small gestures right in front of him in a small space. All of this lead to the drop in pitch.
