BS. My friend made one for his Comet and we drove around all day on it.

dear daverdal1 (2011) the Canadian neocon? political grind-core band fan 2019 cars got 25 miles per gallon (or more) & gas tank capacities are 10 gallon in mini cars , 20 gallon in sedans , & 30 gallon in SUV's SEO for 08 hours & 480 miles it needs a 19 gallon tank max & for 12 hours & 720 miles it needs a 30 gallon tank max & for 16 hours & 960 miles it needs a 40 gallon tank max ? BTW was it a MERCURY Comet with a 16 MPG engine & 16 Gallon tank for a 256 mile range & 4 hours total drive time, or did it have the bolt in 20 gallon tank & do 23 MPG on a highway for a total of 460 mile range & run for 8 hours ? basically your friend drove around all day on a full tank of gas, WOW , a-maze-ing, & or you use metric & got confused , ish archive.ph/wip/CtSop fuelly.com/car/mercury/comet/1964 amazon.com/dp/B078X11KNZ autocityclassic.com/TS6465COM en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_Comet cashcarsbuyer.com/gasoline-tank-capacity/ 800loanmart.com/blog/top-cars-in-the-us-and-their-gas-tank-size/ discogs.com/artist/1988838-Guns-Liquor-And-Whores en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_Hits_Concrete

1927 Ford Model Ts used a fuel vaporizer. So did the Fordson tractor. The design was contracted out to a couple different suppliers. Hundreds of thousands were made, and there are still a lot of them around. Model T guys usually replaced them with normal carbs, because the hot plate (the metal heated by exhaust to vaporize the fuel) tends to burn out and get pinholes. In any event, the Ford vaporizers were far, far simpler in construction than Pogue's, yet accomplish exactly the same thing - fully vaporizing the fuel before it is sucked into the engine - and there is no mystery about them, nor claims of 200mpg. Some Model T people who refurb them instead of replace them with carbs report that there is slightly higher fuel economy, but only just, not double, not triple, not 200mpg! The real "trick" with the Ford vaporizer, so far as economy is concerned, is that once it was heated up, you could run kerosene in it (and in fact, this was the reason it was fitted to the Fordson tractor in the first place). Which, though this was illegal at the time for on-road use, was much cheaper than burning gasoline.

I remember my brother telling me about these so called 100 mpg carburetors and in college I had professors claiming former students had solved solar panel issues only to be bought out by oil companies in a deal they couldn't refuse. My response was did they point a gun to their or a loved ones head? Which is really the only offer that can't be refused. Be that as it may, the more obvious, is that all these patents expired long ago so there's nothing stopping their use except for the plain, less dramatic fact, the ideas had too many issues or were fundamentally flawed, which is why inventors were/are granted 17, now 20 years after filing to develop and bring ideas to market. Patents are the beginnings of ideas not the ends. Being on several patents myself I experience the truth in that. Now, juxtapose this carburetor conspiracy to 3D printing. I saw 3D printers at MIT's Draper Labs back in the early 90's. Low and behold about 20 years later when the patents expired an explosion of 3D printers came to market. Those patents were obviously sound. Now back to the conspiracy of Tesla and the magic 3-6-9 vortex I viewed earlier today. Doh! No conspiracy there either. All explainable with math. 3-6-9 is not the key to the universe.

He says.. car companies have no vested interest in how much fuel a car uses ... wow if that doesnt prove this video reeks of OIL.. i dont know what does

Pardon me, but have you noticed that car companies are now producing cars that use zero gasoline?

@@samsungtvset3398Pardon me, but have you noticed oil companies have heavily invested in carbon capture tech and now ALL the world’s governments simultaneously want to remove carbon (the stuff plants desperately need to grow bigger, better & stronger) from the atmosphere?

My idea was jut to use a pipe T joint with a pipe going into a fuel tank. In the pipe to the T Joint is a piece of carbon felt wick. This wicks fuel up to the pipe T joint where air flows around or though the wick to make a fuel air mix. You can even use a small canister with a gas line and a return with a slow flow fuel pump of 30ml a minute. As long as most of the fuel returns to the tank and the wick is soaked in fuel. and you can have a fixed fuel level for the canister for the wick system. A spark arrestor and air filter are used on the top of the pipe T for the intake a small air filter and the output runs through a spark arrestor.

Charles pouge then went from inventor to a oil filter company man also at this time the price in oil stock dropped ! It did work the science is solid he used kearosen because it had little to no bye product the heating of the fuel using the muffler caused it to vaporize at over 800 degrees liquid gas don’t burn only vapor ! You car typically runs less than 20% efficient! Dig Deeper , the space shuttle runs on water aka hydrogen and oxygen in space ! That also was a myth

Perfectly vaporising the fuel is a good thing , but simple proof is will not achieve anything like 200mpg is propane. That is a perfect vapour when mixed with air entering the engine, but engine efficiency is not drastically improved.
@derektompkins2487
@derektompkins2487 2 года назад
Ya but propane is already sold in a gas state to the consumer. Gasoline is sold in a liquid state. How much liquid did it take too turn that propane into a gas state? Propane was a liquid before it was a gas. What I mean is 1 liter of liquid gasoline = 2 or more liters in a gas{vapor state} for example
@waptek2
@waptek2 2 года назад
@@derektompkins2487 thats why we use its "mass" in pounds or kilograms some solids or liquids expand in 3 dimensions by 10 times as in, 10 X 10 X 10 = 1000 to one , so a cubic centimeter expands to a 10 cm cube
