Dang it, Chuck! You have me crying watching this. It's beautiful. I am pregnant with my first daughter. I didn't have a dad, so getting to watch her grow up with a wonderful father is one of the greatest things I'm excited to witness. Your strong family storytelling is one of the reasons you're my favorite.
My dad and my grandfather both passed earlier this year. My little sister asked me to fill their shoes and walk her down the isle at her wedding next summer. This will be the song we dance to during the father/daughter dance. Thanks for making great music!

Listen I just wrote a hell of a comment it deleted for some reason so to get to the point. This guy is sincerely one of a kind. In an era of mass production and conformity. An era that is seriously confused and lacks any depth or originality. It’s sicking. I’m very picky and can’t believe I’m gonna say this. This fella maybe the best thing out right now. He may not be what you reach for most of the time but for me he is. His voice is amazing. He may be the most original and refreshing song writers in the market. He sings and idk why but the very first time I heard him I was half listening at best and idk why bc I don’t remember hearing one whole sentence he sang but I know when it ended something in me said start it over and man. He demands your attention, makes you listen to every lyric as if it’s a story you personally wrote. You can’t say a genre he would fit to exactly. I won’t even try I wouldn’t disrespect him in that manner. Some may not get this but to me it would be the greatest compliment someone could say. He is so uniquely himself. So original and powerful. His storytelling is commanding, and his delivery is raw but manages to be soothing at the same time. I wouldn’t even try to tell you where he should be categorized to fit. I would say he is refreshingly Charles. Thank god someone was!! He is top three in the market right now to me. He is the best singer songwriter there is and I really believe in 20yrs they will be all saying he is just that. Thank you Charles. Seriously without the few of you all keeping us in good material us true music lovers would be ready to give it up and find something else to heal our souls, captivate our minds, and command our attention. If it were possible that is.
