K Comm Nobody has the strength or the ability of forgiveness. It is a gift from the Most High and only He is able and once you start to know Him and believe in Him, in His name you’ll be able to forgive. Really forgive.
Do not forgive him some people deserve it but not him. He did that cause he hates blacks and he did mean to kill. He does not regret what he did. He's happy cause you guys are forgiving him. He will get out if people continue to forgive him. Let him rot.
It depressed me, that there are people whose proudest moment of their heritage is that their ancestors committed treason and killed their countrymen so they could treat human beings like property, and then got their asses kicked, and somehow that's the thing about their heritage they are most proud of.
People need to raise their children better. I don't want my child to die just because you didn't take care of yours. It's already hard to grasp the love between mother and child, you can't barely begin to understand the pain of losing the child. I don't want anybody to go through that.
I very seldom cry, let alone shed a tear, but the character displayed by the church members and their loved ones is truly remarkable and I’d be lying if I said that my eyes didn’t water up. These people have been through hell yet they still find it in their hearts to forgive. These people are the role models that we so desperately need in our society. It’s a shame that they don’t have the platform to speak from. Somebody needs to get them a tv series or something.
In my opinion when the victims family opposes the death sentence and forgives the purpotrator that faith needs to be respected by the court and the justice system. My heart goes out to these warm loving people, Because they are capable of something that 99.5 of americans are not and thats forgiveness. In the american justice everyones jaws drops to the floor when someone decides to forgive why is that.
How can these people actually forgive him? They are all better than me. I’ll never get to Heaven because I could never be as good as these people. God bless them.
It takes more to hate than Love & forgive as hard as that may seem I know through personal experience I've had hatred in me and I realized that it took more out my life and didn't even affect that person that I hated so much in all reality I was letting that person win by hating them so much & not loving my self!
@@legofilms3742 Do we need a word that literally means "everyone except black people". Because that's what "people of color" means. It means "everyone except white people". Sounds pretty racist and exclusive to me.
@Kinsley Board Yes, I know. So, let's make a word that means "everyone except black people". Or "everyone except mexicans". So, we can exclude those specific groups from a particular conversation lol
@Kinsley Board Apparently you skipped history class. Slavery and oppression happened to everyone at some point in time. Ignorance is always so painful to witness. Especially when it's self-righteous ignorance.
Rani Qare they're not idiots in the bible it says we have to forgive just because you forgive it doesn't mean you let them off. God will deal or has already dealt him
Whatever it says in the bible, and whatever they said to him, I just don't believe that in their hearts they forgave him. I'm not a Christian but I live near Charleston. I would wish there was a hell just so I could go there to watch that fucker burn forever.
they forgave him because if they were to hate him and scream at him for what he did he would feed off of that them forgiving him probably makes him angry because it's not the response he wanted. he's a sick psycho.
them people must be good Christians to forgive someone as evil as Dylan roof. He disrespected GOD and his house by shooting fire in a church and killing innocent people in place of worship. A place where you feel like you would be safe. I know GOD wants us too forgive others like he did us but damn he shows no remorse ( he said he would do it again in a heart beat- sick and disgusting).Let us pray that all our brothers/sisters rest peacefully. Let us embrace each other for time is time too be together. I
God does not do any evil only good. The bad things in life and the world come from the enemy of Satan himself.. The only reason i brought up GOD is because this was done in a church ( and even if you don't believe in GOD -and i respect you if you don't for I love everyone even those people who are terrible and disrespectful too me) Even if you don't believe in God then you have to admit he was rude/disrespectful/ugly on the inside/racist ( This was a hate crime. Any form of prejudice is bad) being white (Irish and Native Indian parentage I have experience it myself and its a awful feeling too be judged by something you have no control over
i didn't know the bible said that and i looked it up and its correct the only theory i can think of is we are all sinners and we all have free will so GOD cant control it then? or not? do you even believe in GOD just asking
Ok so maybe you haven't prevented anybody from having their own beliefs. Now I don't have a problem with some people being atheists. I just don't like those who tend on ruining anybody's religious beliefs especially those who try to smack them with evidence.
In Jesus Christ thier is hope amd salvation for all people willing to turn to God through Jesus with a personal relationship faith belief. WITHOUT God humanity is hateful & these situations will only escalate in society. REPENT .......recieving forgiveness of your sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit
That hope for humanity white peoples theory ..while blacks n Hispanic get gone down...o yeah there's hope for humanity ..but not for blacks or Hispanics just whites .....ask donal duck president
It's ur Boi What's not fair is that there are nine lives that were taken for no reason and their friends and family wont ever get to hug them again. That's not fair
Jupiter Stars I agree but all I’m saying is a bully or in this place a killer are not born that way they are brought up like it. It’s still an in unexcusable act of hatred though.
Neither* do we, but God continues to forgive. He wants us to do as he does. I'm not making excuses for his actions. Forgiveness is also a part of healing.
Those people dont realize he was pissed when he kept hearing "forgive" he has so much hate and those people wouldnt hate him back he lost and he knows it
Thank you for this. I was really getting mad like am I the only one who keeps hearing that they call this Fucker alleged when we all know he’s the one that did it?
DarkSideSwag21 Basic forgiveness is not specific to Christianity. Rather than waste time hating someone and being haunted by him, they choose to forgive and move on. There is no point in dwelling on the negative. That being said, I think religion is a crock of shit.
I %100 agree that Christians aren't the only ones who can forgive but these are Christian people that had their family members taken away in an instant and staring at the killer they were able to forgive him. Christians get a bad rap sometimes but this proves that not all "Christians" are hypocrites, overboard, judging people.
So you think just because you are a Christian it means nothing bad will ever happen? God allows things to happen and we might not know why but it's all part of God's master plan for their lives
I can relate to these people. My Grandma was assaulted and killed a couple months ago and going to court and seeing the killer was devastating. It’s something I hope no other 16 year old has to endure. I too chose forgiveness and I am proud of these people for doing so
Jdrummer I'm sorry this happened but I honeslty do not understand how anyone can just forgive a person for murdering a loved one especially when it's something they planned or knew exactly what they were doing. It's just crazy to me.
I dont understand people like you all who would forgive killer of your loved ones. I think it is just stupid and is only rooted from your fear to your "God". Its irrational. Like, why? Why would you forgive them? Huh? You know these guys must be laughing on their brains and shit on how stupid you all people to forgive him. Facts.
@@em8714 that doesn't detract from the fact that as a non person of color his opinion is less relevant in terms of his feelings regarding the flag. It's like me saying the native American red skin symbol doesn't bother me. As a non native American my opinion doesn't hold much weight bc it's not my race that's the subject of the offense
agreed i think it takes a really truly good hearted person to put personal anger and need for vengeance aside and let there faith take care of it. beyond that to "forgive" the person responsible my goodness that's so amazing. forgiveness is like love it gets thrown around alot but if you look at the true meaning of the words you will understand how impossible it must have been. i applaud those who forgave and pray for the ones that could not. rip to those lost. let it be known that good overcame evil in this case.
Alexslingl13 She is. She said she forgives him. I FEEL GREAT THAT He's LIVING A CAGED NO HOPE LIFE, he really didn't have much of an existence before. Just took up space, blaming intelligent BLACK PEOPLE because he can't count to 30. WOW
Stop making mass murderers pseudo-celebrities. It's the attention and sense of influence that inspire the next mass murderer. Make it as boring as possible. State the facts, and move on to anything else.
Lmao Man it’s amazing. “Polite baby faced Southern man.” You already know what they would’ve called him if he was black. They would’ve brought up all his past, and made sure they made him look as horrible as can be. Whenever it’s a Caucasian person it’s always, “He has mental issues, he’s such a good person, blah blah blah.”
Echelon They didn't call him a good person once, they literally called him evil immediately after saying that This isn't an issue about race, black people like Alton Sterling were portrayed as "gentle giants" who did no wrong when the dude was a violent convicted pedophile who was also convicted of assault Furthermore the dude who called him baby faced and polite was literally black himself, holy shit you try so hard to make the media seem racist when they aren't
Brett Keane I don’t try hard to make the media seem racist, they are racist. Ignite this incident and look at other ones where they portray a black criminal in a much darker light than and white criminal.
That Guy lmfao how dumb are you. Just because the guy is black doesn't mean shit, they just read what is on screen, even if he wrote it, so what?? Just look at the case of Treyvon, how the cough syrup and his photos of hoodies spread to make him look like a gang banger. Every network has a slant, but at the end of the day, it's a business, and controversy and fear sells.
I'm a white man from a small town in Ontario Canada, I have my struggle understanding gods plans from my own experiences, but when I see how these beautiful , loving people are able to forgive, helps me trust in God. God bless you all and thank you
I am amazed at how forgiving these people are. I’ve held grudges for years against ppl for much less. I will try to take a page from these lovely ppls book. Thank you all for inspiring me, and you all are in my prayers.
God said an eye for an eye. Why let resentment eat you up when if we just followed the word of the lord 9 of the victims relatives should be allowed 10 minutes alone with this doofus
It takes more to hate than Love & forgive as hard as that may seem I know through personal experience I've had hatred in me and I realized that it took more out my life and didn't even affect that person that I hated so much in all reality I was letting that person win by hating them so much & not loving my self!
Yehudi Menuhin in my opinion, you seem to be creating nonsense bullshit. If he has religious beliefs, just leave him alone and quit procrastinating people who have religious beliefs. I’ve seen you comment to people who’ve had comments like “may god bless them.” Although in your perspective it might not seem like you’re preventing people from believing in religion, but in my perspective you’re a shit disturber.
yehudi Menuhin watch annelise michel part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 listen to the recordings and listen to the 6 voices of annelise michel and listen to the translation of annelise michel further more you can read the exorcism of annelise michel book the author is felicitas d goodman you can the novel on amazon this event inspired the making of the movie emily rose it's laughable that would call it imaginary cause it's so much more then that in this case it really is
Black person: they should take that flag down 😕 White person: I really don't care if the flag stays up there 😐 Me: u just say that because u white bet if u was black like me u would be saying the same thing as the black person😤😒
I remember i was literally walking across the street from that place 10mins before it actually happened. A friend of mine was working on a contract site at that area so we met up and grabbed some food. After we finished we went on with our day and I was on my way to my car and passed by the church. Once i get to my car my friend calls me and says theres been a shooting and if i could go pick him up. To this day i still get chills just thinking about what happened every time i go to downtown Charleston. R.I.P. to all those innocent lives lost🙏🏼
Not me. Them forgiving him makes me feel good that they are not going to be controlled by this scumbag. They are going to continue to live their lives and not let their lives get ruined by hate and bitterness.
R.I.P Everyone Who Died They Never Deserved To Die Especially In That Way 😭😭😭😭😭 And I Hope Anyone Who Got Hurt Recovers 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 And I Hope That The Victim's Family's Recover 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is such shameful. So quick to forgive someone who never asked for it. Jesus didn't forgive until we asked for it. But he said stand ready to forgive so u dont arbor hate, but he never asked nor does he want it.
Despite his hatred against blacks, if he had just a little drop of empathy, he would feel remorse after hearing these words of those who lost their loved ones. R.I.P
That is a very common interrogation technique. You can't starve people, and giving them 'decent' or requested food is a good way to get them to open up, relax a bit, and help the investigation.
Cops bring people food during interrogation all the time. It's not like they took him through the drive through immediately after the shooting and gave him a paper crown lmao
These people are crazy to forgive this man. They don't understand that they should never forgive this kind of action and they should take action that fits the crime .Wake up Black people.
@@axixgraham5324 No. We should only forgive a person if they ask for forgiveness but if they don't ask for forgiveness towards a person they harm or family then he have no conscious but evil heart only. Jesus didn't forgive everybody automatically who harm him but he forgiven them who ask.. Ask and it shall be given like the Bible say. And it's not like he didn t know what he was doing.
hideous act to kill so many innocent people . Even in something so ugly and hateful , God's love shined thru in the families. Even through their tears of fresh grief, they offered forgiveness. That is not normal human behavior. In case you missed it, that is the power of have a personal loving relationship with God.
elizabeth barrett well, I hate to break it to ya but your god won't punish this killer because as long as he accept god then he is saved.. God Bless you.
this is true...but those indwelled with the Holy Spirit bear fruit. Did I miss something ? When did this man profess to have accepted the perfect love of Jesus Christ a claim Him as his personal Savior ?
All of this Forgiveness, it is very touching. Jesus would have wanted that, you can't hold hate in your heart. Hate only brings more hate, pain only brings more pain, suffering only brings more suffering. Hate crimes will destroy your life, and the lives of the people around you.
This is more despicable than a simple mass shooting, to pick out a group on account of their race, a group that welcomed him into their church, makes it particularly vile. There are a lot of young people out there yearning for love. Be kind, smile and make love your goal.
I'm so sorry for the lives that was taken away in the house of the Lord. May they rest in peace forever, may God continue to bless and keep the families in his care.
