At around 9pm on June 17, 2015, a tragic shooting occurred at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Nine people lost their lives. The suspect was arrested in the following days and is facing multiple counts of hate crime charges. This is an archive of live news reports from a couple of local stations: mainly "Live 5 News" WCSC as well as "ABC News 4" WCIV and "News 2" WCBD. Note that "Fox24" does not have a news operation; their newscasts are operated from WCSC staggered. This video begins at about 10:45pm and runs until about 2am in the morning.
