In this clip, Charleston White details how the movie "Colors" affected him and led to him leaving his loving and stable home to be in the streets, because he thought he wasn't "real" if he wasn't struggling in life. Charleston went on to detail how he took on the "gangster" image as a way of rebelling, and he added that his mother was overloaded with too many family issues to see that he was going on the wrong path. From there, Charleston detailed who he masterminded a crime spree at 14 after running away from home, which involved him and 3 other friends stealing Starter jackets from the mall. While running out of the mall, Charleston says that a man in the parking lot tried to stop him and his friends from leaving the mall parking lot by jumping on the car and smashing their windshield. One of Charleston's friends shot the man, who later died, leading to the four friends to be wrapped up in a capital murder case.
