I find it appalling. My Dad comes out of the poorest county in the poorest state in the US went to the military with no college education and is now making over 100k. My cousins still living there graduated top of their class one valedictorian the other low 4.0. One has a full ride to Ole miss the other a full ride to University of Texas. These people weren’t born rich and had to work for everything they have. I honestly can’t figure out how we haven’t come farther. Most of the guys in my hometown aren’t from the trenches.
