I think some in our community believe that if you address racism that you automatically stop doing everything else to progress. In the 1920's we tried ignoring racism, it didnt stop. We fought the wars, made our own towns, put on suits and bought land and they still came and lynched/burned whole communities. Ignoring is ignorance imo

You can speak on the people who got benefits from slavery without actually being into it, but it’s not as much as you would like to think, and it definitely don’t impact them the same way, the slave owners benefited. Even if so, obviously reparations would be wonderful, it really would be but we all know reparations would not help us in this current state we’re in at all. Single parents household, black propaganda, we have to help ourselves and get ourselves in at least a favorable position before we can really say we deserve anything. One could argue that the industrial revolution was the actual reason for the abolishing of slavery because it provided a more lucrative alternative for America. Meaning that America in its infancy relied primarily on FREE slave labor. Thats were the Term :Cotton is King" comes from. Thats like you working fries at McDonald's for $1 and your coworkers making $15 while working less. They are not the boss but they benifit heavily from the business' unfair practices at your expense. Thier silence, and compliance makes them a culprit in your unfair treatment. Only diffrence is with CHATTEL slavery is there was no other option/choice. Very good conversating with you.
