The collective self esteem of blacks in America is so low, we have to live in a fantasy world and hold onto moments of greatness that happened 2000 years ago to ignore the reality that we are failing in this country as a group present day. Much easier to live in a dream world where everybody is a descendant of royalty than to face the harsh reality and start having self accountability and doing the work of building.

Yes, but to (metaphorically) become a King or Queen takes a HELL of a lot of work and ironically enough...more humility than pride. Pride has to come after you have achieved something. To use pride as a starting point is not only delusional but dangerous. Humility is what allows us to grow. Look at the Asians.
